So I'm coming from Missouri City trying to go back in the loop. I just bought some weed and was smoking a joint. Having never been caught with weed before, I guess I was getting a little cocky because I'm usually more cautious. I was going like 20 over near the Hiram Clarke exit and an HPD was hidden behind some cars. Didn't see him until I passed but I saw the lights when I did. I thought it was over. Bye scholarships, bye school for a little while at least, etc. Cop gets out asks for the license and insurance. Got my insurance then was getting my license. Luckily for me I guess, my UH id was in front of it, and I'm sure he saw it because he obviously could smell the weed and was looking in. He asked me where I was going to be driving so fast and I said studying for a test. Then he asked me to be honest and asked if I had been smoking. I said yeah, he handed me back my stuff and said consider this your lucky day. Because you have a test that you should have been studying for earlier, I'm gonna let you go. Then he just walked away and I was gone before he changed his mind. Got on 610, and lit the joint back up . I can't believe that happened.
You are extremely lucky, I definitely would not have re-lit the joint lol. On another note, I'm surprised our social group doesn't have more activity.
1) Thank god in MA, they can't search based on "smell" and possession of weed is only a civil fine. 2) Ballsy to light back up.
I'm pretty sure being pulled over killed his buzz. I guess he is going with the lightning strike theory on this one.
Go buy a lottery ticket and go ask a smoking hot chick out. You won't get too many days that are this lucky....especially in TX. I got stoned and forgot about it:grin:
That whole time I was just scared as **** but I was accepting the loss. There was no way that joint was not going to be smoked. I had to celebrate.
Yes, there are several reasons for this. 1. Being high is kind of like surfing a wave, you need to learn how to ride that wave without getting too freaked out of paranoia leading to anxiety. This is where there is a big difference between people who like weed and people who don't. Some people can and do get overwhelmed by the wave and never try to ride it (I've seen those people).. However if you can conquer in riding it you get allllllllllll the benefits of smoking weed. Your will be way more productive, especially at work. When paranoia strikes, which can/will if you smoke more then you can handle in riding that wave. You just need to remind yourself you are fine, and tell yourself the paranoia/anxiety is good for you in the long run because it's teaching you hidden secrets about yourself (why are you so paranoid/having anxiety.. maybe those are issues you need to work on within yourself.. Whether it occurs when your in a social environment and get social anxiety or you tell yourself your going to die- you got some mental hurdles you need to work on- to be a much happier person in the long run) 2. The strain, Indica or Sativa- one may give you anxiety more-so then the other. Also how you smoke, vape or torch. Vape is more capable of giving anxiety as it's really easy to inhale more then you are used to/can handle the wave 3. Surroundings, if your out in a bout you may get anxiety more-so then the comfort of your home .
I was not very clear. I smoke often. My habits of smoking are the following. One week I smoke then don't for 2 or 3 weeks I don't. but lately I think it's heightening my anxiety during the weeks I smoke.
