I am not sure what would lead you to make that statement. The two players I am kind of mad the rockets passed on are manimal and Leonard.
Morey has proved that he is good at: 1. Asset management 2. Contract/Cap management 3. Finding good (but not great) talent in the low first round and second round 4. Realizing his own mistakes and correcting them quickly Morey has not shown that he's good at: 1. Signing big name free agents (may not be his fault) 2. Finding great talent in high to mid first round
I'm empathetic so sorry man it must be awful to know the love of your life is completely out of your league and is not gay.
I liked Fournier before the draft and thought he would be good, but he's played 300-some minutes, mostly in garbage time. He's played about 20 mins a game for the last 4 games - obviously not enough to judge him on. 80-some minute of play doesn't tell us much about the guy.
Just your average neighbour joe type of guy who happens to have made millions betting on sports. Yes he has his very own sports statistic team.
The only thing funny about Fournier has been his play during the post-season. The guy is a complete liability out there. Golden State is not even bothering to really guard him. He's definitely not ready for the playoffs.
To be fair there's only been a handful of big name free agents over the years, and despite what clutchfans thinks, it's not like we were a great destination.. until now of course.
Faried is already an All Star level player. Jones was great in SL but since then there's something about game which makes me think of Kenny Thomas.
NBA athletism, NBA body, good playmaker and ball handler. His just shot was the the only real question mark, he was just bad at it.
Very good analogy, but I think Martin is the one that got the deal done for us. ......... ......... .........
And he's worse than Chandler Parsons. What's your point? We could do this all day with teams that let a guy slip.
Fournier looks even funnier not just being benched, but not even seeing the court at all. Evan Fournier: Elite level cheerleader.
because he gambles higher upside/higher bust chance when your team needs to find a star, Royce White is a good example, he gave him a 10% star, 60% bust chance, but given where we were, he the the gamble. Leonard makes you better and was always going to be a good starter/rotation player, but he only makes you a little better. A little better works for a 1st/2nd seed San Antonio, a little better didn't work for a non playoff Houston.
