Wha? We can't argue about the truth of Christianity until you provide the evidence that it's the truth. Kind of hard to go much beyond that buddy.
Try three and a half years. He began at the age of thirty. He was crucified after turning 33. At least that is what is usually what is accepted as orthodoxy.
If somehow archaeologists found a 2000+ year old book that gave the complete history of Jesus' life between the ages of 2-30. How exactly would that change your view?
I think this page is relevant to what I've been saying tonight and to this constant, back-and-forth tennis style debate. I hope it's read with an open mind and heart (and that people try to understand some of the very deep ideas as best they can). I'm not saying everything on this site is true but it's relevant. http://www.askrealjesus.com/religio...feel-like-some-people-are-from-another-planet
And that ceremony has to be held at church? I guess all those poor idiots who skipped out on a church wedding are really just silly strangers to each other huh.
Do yourselves a favor and don't click the link. All kinds of warnings just popped up for me after clicking it. I guess I'm going to hell?
People are being turned off because its not real. God is real but Jesus was just a man. Understand that Christians are committing the ultimate sin everyday. Instead of focusing on god Christians focus on the worship of man. Their is no trinity their is only one and that is god.
It is more of a guess based on certain context clues. Not really assuming anything. What is the ultimate sin? In Christianity, the ultimate sin is rejected Jesus as Lord.
That's why Christianity is false. Not going to answer the question of what the ultimate sin is. If I answer that question I would be disclosing what my religious preference is. Make your guess, nothing better then a guessing game.
Idol worship (forbidden in the ten commandments). Not all Christians do that though, so you can't generalize like that. However, the trinity is real, just far different and deeper than is taught in Christian theology (in a nutshell: female yields to male to bring forth life. Father, Mother, Child).
Jesus was just a man. How hard is it to figure out? Christianity entire basis is the worship of man not god.
Emmanuel. God with us. According to Christoanity, Jesus was God through man. The Holy Spirit is the supposed Spirit of Jesus in Christians. Both forms lead back to the very same God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Thus, christoans worship Worship Yahweh, not man. I'm all for religious discussion, but misrepresenting any religion is a no no. I'm not a Buddhist, but I'd hate to purposefully change Buddhist points to make them look bad.
