The funny thing is that he was telling other people to do some of their own research and stop watching a news channel. If he'd done his own research he would have seen that Xmas does not take the name of Christ out of Christmas.

Maybe he's the one that should stop watching the news channel he watches.

If I can't make everyone else in America follow my religious beliefs, I am being oppressed.

    Worst. Argument. Ever.

Having those religious views is not stupid. It is trying to force them on everybody else by insisting on laws that is stupid.

Damn those gays for insisting on equality. Who the hell do they think they are? Pfffft... God says no and that should be good enough for everyone even if you're stupid and don't believe in God.

I take it you've given up trying to prove anything and is just resorting to childish remarks that are full of holes if actually examined?

except nobody is trying to do what your fix is. Having gay marriage legal is not forcing anyone into gay marriage. Heterosexual marriage is still allowed. With Gay marriage legal, both homosexuals and heterosexuals can marry the person they love.

We can not force bob marley to live in a gay world. The gay agenda is to force everyone to become gays and live a gay life style. Bob doesn't want to have poop sex. Why are forcing him to marry a man???

I like dancing, eating good food, going to the beach, wearing nice clothes, talking a lot, going out on the town.

I enjoy homosexuals and lesbians as people, we have a lot in common.

I just disagree when it comes to marriage. Let them be together, just stating what I believe.

So don't get a gay marriage then.

Two gays getting married should have no bearing on your marriage.

Read through the first selections from the article posted by the OP and there is nothing new here. Other than using bigger words and an academic paper organization the arguments presented have been addressed repeatedly before.

So it's ok for them to be together? But not share medical insurance or have visiting rights, or estate rights, etc? You just don't want their "togetherness" to be recognized as official correct?

That's irrelevant to the topic at hand, but we all applaud your enthusiasm as a NAMBLA recuiter.

Why not make those rights part of a civil union? Leave the institution of marriage alone.

The "institution of marriage" was never monopolized by one group over the other.

I'm not sure why this is a difficult concept to understand.

I think marriage is a religious ceremony. It has civil benefits though. So, if homosexual couples would like those benefits, make them available with civil unions.
