Did anyone else see Harden's face light up when JCF mentioned they were defending in the top 10 as of March 1st?

Playoff spots, whatever, we just gotta go play.

Dragic, Scola, Marcus - we'll have our hands full.

Terrence played well. He's been practicing really well and I had been thinking about getting him in there, then he hurt his thumb, then we sent him to the D-League for a 4-5 game rehab stint to get his wind back. Terrence has been real solid. I think that time in the D-League helped him. Ever since he came back, he's been really good.

Getting more comfortable with what we're doing. Asking him to do a lot of different things he hasn't done before. ... New everything. It took Terrence time to get comfortable as it took D-Mo time.

8 man rotation? Somewhat comfortable. We might be a little...throw a couple a guys out there, test the water on some guys. When you have young guys, they'll be up and down.

I'm not sure we'll ever have a firm set rotation. We have so many young guys that they'll be up and down. Maybe that night, see who is playing well and give a few different guys a chance, which isn't always ideal. As you're giving guys chances, that's 18-20 of experimenting, trying to see what you got.

We were able...it was a disjointed year. James comes in late, makes some trades and stuff like that. Guys, overall, who have been here from the start of training camp, they've done a tremendous job. Bringing in a Harden helps a lot. You have a guy who can go late game with and 5th leading scorer in the league. It's been somewhat frustrating at times because it seems you're always trying to add new people, new stuff. Continuity is a nice thing. We haven't had much of that. It's really a credit to the guys. We may be young and stuff but they're good kids. They're easy to work with, they work hard, they're good young men. They give you honest effort every day. If we played poorly, they bounced back. It's a good group and credit to the young men we have here.

He deserves credit for giving credit. ;)

I am happy he sees TJones is solid. In 3 games he has played well while not hurting the team. Not super but solid and that is more than we have been getting from the 4 lately.

This. This - - the growth of rookies to second year. This, the growth of rookies to second year is, or should be, exponential.

OK, what do we look forward to going forward - - from DMo, from TJ, from TRob (Royce is not in this conversation at this moment), great growth? Backing up a mercenary 4? Traded?

Hey, DM the GM - - what's the call?

McHale was so mad after the Denver game, he seemed like he was going to snap at one of the reporters. That may have been the angriest I have ever seen him about a game.

What was he saying? I'd be frustrated too if my team came out with great energy and got to 13 point lead and blew it, too.

I think the criticism for McHale is that he was placing all the blame on the players and not taking it himself.

I don't remember, but he was just upset. I saw the postgame interview on CSN Houston's site. It might still be there.

In all fairness it's difficult to coach the youngest team in NBA history to make the playoffs. He has some head scratchers for sure. But when I think about actual coaching mishaps, I think about more veteran teams with some key mistakes down the line with regards to strategy, etc.

You can't blame McHale for having a young squad, and it's not exactly fair to be too harsh on him for not turning the youngins into vets in one season.

Just hope McHale does not put TJones back to the closet when Jones has a bad game.

He was upset with the turnovers mostly....and how many points Denver scored off them. Said we lost all of the games to Denver the same way, by throwing them the ball. He was pretty cranky.
