Not saying for any particular case, but when someone holds the ball and ISo till shot clock is run out, then on then the only other pro-active things left to do is on defense. And then how long will you want to sustain it before u kinda tune out? It happens. That's why getting everyone involved in offense can be considered a defensive strategy. You always hear players and coaches about this.
-He doesn't make great decisions a good amount of time. -He relies on foul calls way too damn much. -Goes jump-shot happy instead of attacking the basket. -Horrid defender I hope he could develop into a player like Brandon Roy (Smart decision maker, mediocre defender, overall a beast of a player). Roy if healthy right now would be a better player then him.
Has Harden forgot how to finish around the rim well? I remember the first half of the season how great he was finishing high difficulty lay ups, but now it seems like he forgot how to finish well because all he cares about is getting the foul called. Has Harden become so used to receiving calls that he just forgot how to finish. It seems like 80% of the time he attempts a fg just to receive a foul call.

Harden is 23 years old this is his first year being the number one option on a team that hasn't seen the playoffs in three years. He's still growing so let him grow up. Without him this team wouldn't even be relevant to even be talked about right now. So instead of pointing things out about the only superstar player we have it would make more since to point out who we are going to get in here to help this guy out consistently.
I'm not sure if you're being serious but Synergy can't even categorize the possessions without error much less reliably rank a player defensively. Steve Novak is ranked 96th overall and Asik is ranked 276th overall. Kyrie Irving and Paul George have the same ranking. Eye test is what works unless Morey wants to hand us his more advanced stats, which wouldn't be some simple ranking off how much ppp you allow.
