I hate that he hasn't shown DMo how to shoot, pass, defend, or rebound. And that he doesn't have a twin brother playing for us too. And hasn't given Parsons more athleticism and defense. And didn't convince mchale to bring up tjones earlier.
Lol. No. Just....no. Synergy defensive stats are better than an eye test. People score on you consistently means you suck at defense. Unfortunately, people score on Harden a lot.
He doesn't play for stats. He carries his team more often than not. 1. He can be better on the defensive end. 2. He needs to be the leader of this team. To truly become the leader of his team, he needs to put more efforts on defense. There.
Harden's got the skills but he needs the wisdom to adapt to the needs of each particular game. That means sometimes he's got to be a defender and not a scorer. I think he needs a veteran or a strong charismatic coach that he would respect and who can reign him in what he brain farts. Let's not forget Harden with all his talent is only 23.
Harden's defence is absolutely atrocious at times. Whats frustrating is that he just looks lazy on the defensive end.
It stands for defensive regularized adjusted plus minus and is an advanced statistic for measuring a players defensive impact in a game. The formal definition can be found here. It basically takes the +\- scores you see in the ESPN score boxes adjusts them for teammates and opponents on the floor and applies statistical methods to reduce randomness. It's not perfect, but it's another indicator you can use inaddition to the eye test and other metrics to gauge a players effectiveness in playing defense.
I live in China at the moment and Jeremy Lin has been great for telling chinese people where I am from and I think he has done well this year. But on that note.... These LOF's are awful. Harden is the reason we are where we are. The past three years have been brutal. Anyone who says Harden plays just for stats needs to watch the NBA more, he's just so damn efficient and if he were playing for stats he really needs to watch Melo or Kobe shoot 30 times a game. Also, from my extensive grading of my students broken English here in China the OP sounds like he's from china or a child. If i am wrong in the judgments my bad.

yeah everyone sucked but why? why didnt everyone sucked against clippers?perhaps cause harden ruined chemistry? perhaps everyone just relie on him and become passive?
