    Probably the biggest homers I have ever listened to call a game. I know people may not think the world of the Rockers announcers, but my God, every foul the Nuggets commit is not a foul, the Rockets are floppers even when they slip, basically calling Harden an offensive flopper, any alley oop by the Nuggets is the play of the year. Just annoying.

    Scott Hastings is undoubtedly the worst, most annoying homer any local broadcast team has to offer. His crap is unbearable

    Not just homers, but have a bad whiny attitude, particularly Scott Hastings, the color guy.

    Pretty bad for sure.

    On the Rockets block + dunk sequence, the announcer intentionally undercalled it with a soft voice like it was a free throw.

    When McGee had a dunk on Motiejunas minutes later, it was like the DUNK OF THE YEAR!!! loud call on it


    No they're not decent. We have a Nuggets fan on this site for 15 years who'll tell you the same.

    The color commentator is awful. Play by play is ok. But this game is crappy regardless.

    My favorite so far - (paraphrasing here) "In the NBA, you don't need a superstar to win, necessarily, but you need a superstar to win and get ticky tack calls."

    Clearly said to hate on the fact that the Nuggets don't have a superstar and the Rockets do.


    Aside from the announcers, props to the Nuggets for playing well down two men.

    Our announcers are par for the NBA. The Nuggets announcers make Sean Elliot sound like Greg Gumbel.

    I've watched almost every rockets game for a few years on league pass, and they've been calling the rockets a floppy team for a long while. have never heard any other team's commentators bash the rockets for flopping more than these guys.

    probably part of what we get for having scola and martin be our two main guys.

    I still think tommy heinsohn is the worst commentator in all of the nba.

    Scott Hastings is one of the top 2 worst commentators in the league, possibly number #1 followed by the Boston guy.
