Kyle Hallock was called up to OKC from Quad Cities to take Dallas Keuchel's spot on the roster after Keuchel was sent to Houston after Travis Blackley's injury.

Cameron Lamb was called up from extended spring training to go to Quad Cities.

In his next at-bat, Correa bloops in an RBI single to give Quad Cities an 8-0 lead. Bases are loaded.

Correa has 6 RBI through the first 2 1/2 games of the season. He had 12 in 50 in his debut half-season.

Maybe they should have sent Correa to AAA

Blame Travis Blackley. Strained his shoulder in his very first bullpen session with the Astros.

Yes, Blackley made a move of some sort imminent. It just seemed strange that a low A guy was their best answer.

Ah. Now I realized that Keuchel was supposed to be Cosart's partner tonight. The TCB guys say Edgar Gonzalez is still being exposed to waivers so he can't report to OKC just yet.

That means... Hallock might end up being Cosart's new partner for tonight.

I figured Gonzalez must have not cleared waivers yet. They could go with a standard approach for the game instead of pure piggyback.

I think I've seen them jump somebody like this before. Seaton ran through my mind, but if it was him he didn't pitch.

Hallock is for simplicity more than anything.

Carlos Correa just ripped an RBI double to left-center for his 3rd hit and 4th RBI of the afternoon.

Quad Cities will be playing the first extra-inning game in the organization this season as Kane County scores 3 off Gera Sanchez in the 9th to tie the game at 10.

Correa legs out an RBI infield single in the 11th. Hit #4, RBI #5.

Correa beasting like a number one should. Maybe the light has came on and instead of waiting years, he could be on the fast track.
