Let's put it this way, I'd be surprised if we won.

I'm expecting a close game with a poor first half start, and a strong 3rd but poor finish.

b2b away and against a team like the nuggets. Sure gallo's out, but it's going to be tough game.

 

They weren't even scheduled to arrive in Denver until 4AM today. Playing back to back at altitude with no sleep... it's going to be a tough game.

 

I feel the same way. I hope Delfino will be back. The absence of Parsons will hurt us.

 

Lin has a tendency to struggle on b2bs. I don't know why Mchale didn't go to his bench earlier. I saw no indication of the Blazers starting a run. Lin/Harden/Asik should have been benched around the 6 minute mark of the 4th.

 

before this mini road trip i had the rockets going 2-1 with the loss coming to denver but now with denver's injuries and the way the rockets have looked lately i think the rockets need to send a message to denver that they can compete with them and not get swept because denver is a team houston might see in the postseason so lets pull this one out rockets

 

Taking no chances anymore with playoffs on the line. Lin may struggle in b2bs, but I think that's true in general for the team.

 

Big game... A Rockets win tonight and the 6th spot is theirs for the taking. And I agree a win tonight sends a message to Denver. But it won't be easy. Losing Gallo will definitely hurt them long term but most teams step up for one or 2 games after a loss of an impoortant asset, e.g. Rockets trade PPat and win the next game, last night they beat Portland without Parsons. Garcia needs to step up again tonight and everyone else has to play big.

 

Tough game.
I hate the Nuggets, even though I'm from Denver. From the fans to Kenneth Faried, yuck. Denver fans have some of the biggest egos imaginable. I still remember sitting in the Pepsi Center with the crowd truly believing that Chris Anderson was the second-coming of Tim Duncan and that Carmelo was never guilty of a personal foul. George Karl is the mecca of coaching relationships (ask Ray Allen, Glenn Robinson and Sammy Cassell) and the Iverson/Melo combination was better than Jordan/Pippen. Those were the days....


Anyhoo, I think Aaron Brooks should get some PT tonight. If James is being hounded by Iggy, we need a guy to come in who can penetrate and/or create his own shot.

JLin gets in the lane, but he tends to turn the ball over at that point. I think AB's quickness and shooting touch would be a good modification to the current "rotation."

As usual, James is going to have to come up big for us to have a chance.

Greg is going to have to actually not foul and play smart against the Manimal or it's going to be a long night of offensive rebounds and put-backs.

Luckily, Ty Lawson is out, right? He's too fast for us. PatBev is the only one who can keep up with him, but despite his growth this year, Patrick isn't on the same level yet.

 

Very true... This is a very big game... We can see how much they have matured.

Hopefully the team will continue to play together. It's seems like chemistry is developing.

Denver has depth but I think both Lawson and of course Gallinari are out. This could give Hoston a chance if they go after Andre Miller heavily.

 

Any confirmation from the team that Parsons is not playing today? What's exactly his injury, do you know?

 

Win. Team jelling over team trying to survive without injuries.

 

GS has to lose a a few games 1st before we can take over that 6th spot.

Every team has fans just like that,,Look at some of our Rockets fans. Some think Lin is the next Magic Johnson.

I dont see Brooks gettn any burn.
