Laker bandwagoners will tell you that is because the Grizzlies are a jumpshooting team with no physical low post players.

The Lakers were actually called for more fouls than the Grizz tonight. Not that it mattered in FTA.

This has been going on since the birth of youtube. stern has a firm grip on what youtubers can show.

Another example of a team getting screwed by the refs when they play the Lakers....

The Spurs argument was created by the NBA itself to try to make it look like their is nothing fishy going on. The truth is the Spurs always had the HIGHEST TV ratings internationally of ANY team.

"But if the NBA was fixed, why would they let the Spurs play in the Finals 4 times", comes straight out of NBA marketing as a deflection tactic. Because while the Spurs got lower TV ratings in the US, the NBA chose to make that claim and used media that is has contracts with to also make that claim.

It's obviously not even remotely true though, since the Spurs generated the biggest ratings of all NBA teams on an international scale. So that the NBA would push that line at all for a team that had the top international ratings, really makes it look even more suspicious.

The Spurs were a huge money make in TV internationally, so the NBA has huge incentive to have them do well.

Question is... what do we have to do so that stern/silver will favor the Rockets?

The Lakers have yet to win a game by more than the FT disparity in their favor since the all star break.

    Yep.

    This.

There are awful calls every game. This video proves nothing.

I dunno, it's pretty interesting. If we just look at the last three close games the Lakers were involved in, we have:

Memphis: Missed call on Conley layup at the buzzer. . Possibly missed call on Conley jumper the play before ("they don't call that" but see below)

Sac: Missed call on Cousins jumper. Very iffy call for Kobe jumper on the play before (less of a foul than Conley shot above)

Min: Obvious missed call on Rubio jumper at the buzzer.

Can you make a video for any other team in the NBA over any one week period where three very speculative plays occured like this? And this doesn't even cover the stuff in the video going back some games prior. It's not like we're picking and choosing stuff throughout the whole season; these are from every close game in an extremely tight playoff race. There's a reason it's getting press.

There were 18 final minutes without a free-throw for the Grizz. There were at least five episodes with shooting fouls at that time

There was a foul even on today's NBA block of the Night, when Earl Clark was pushing Quincy with his left hand

Benny Salvatore had a clear angle on that. Benny Salvatore also was on a baseline in Game 5 in that Mavs - Rockets series and he had a clear angle on Michael Finley stepping three feet out of bounds

It's an Italian name of course. Just like the most hated ref in Europe also has an Italian name.

Lol at Kobe whining on the floor to the referee after the missed shot and leave his teammates play 4 on 5 on the other end.

The Lakers are prominently featured on both of TNT's 'Playoffs: Win or Go Home' commercials even though they aren't in yet (and they're the only one on those commercials that hasn't clinched - the other ones are powerhouses like Miami and OKC/Spurs)... INB4 'they made those commercials a long time ago!'... could've easily edited in a different team.
