Agreed...Memphis is the only team we can beat out right with no other factor included (injuries by other teams players,etc..) .. The Spurs may be a good match-up but Parker worries me and Duncan is still Duncan, so it is a close call.

No Lawson, no Gallo. I'm going with the Nuggets.

Hard to say between the Clippers and Memphis.

The Clippers, for all their flash and flare, don't seem to be a very well rounded team.

Memphis lacks star power, but are pretty solid throughout, and appear to be well suited for playoff basketball.

    1. No OKC

    2. Try to dodge top tier or strong defensive PGs.

    -->Denver.

Yeah I agree with you - vote Memphis before reading the injury reports. With 2 starter probably out, definitely ripe for the taking. Even Lawson comes back in time for playoff he's going to be rusty with stamina issues.

This is what the trainers strongly suspect (loose ligaments). Needs to be confirmed with a MRI today.

We just have to beat Golden St. to that 6th seed and we'll have a chance regardless who we face.

Well last night changed my opinion. Either Spurs or Nuggets - leaning more towards Nuggets with the injuries to Gallo and Lawson.

I prefer Spurs or Grizzlies. Clippers has been inconsistent lately due to players' injury. OKC or Nuggets is our worse enemy I think.

Anyone but OKC, as it took a miracle just to get one game with them. I must admit, Rockets has been pretty lucky with injuries to their core players. Asik and Lin has missed 0 games and Harden/Parsons have only missed a few games. Look at what injuries did to the Lakers, Dallas, and Minn.

Nuggets still got Faried. Not that easy of an out.

They are still probably the best option, though. We gotta hope OKC gets that 1st seed.

    Spurs 1-3
    Thunder 2-1
    Nuggets 0-3
    Grizzlies 1-2
    Clippers 1-2

Of those teams, the Rockets only have a winning record against the Thunder. That said, something in my gut makes me say the Spurs.

I think that people should be paying more attention to OKC and SA's schedules than GSW and our schedules. If OKC gets the 1st seed than we'll stand a chance in the 1st round even if we stay at 7th seed (we'll be facing SA in that scenario). If OKC gets first seed we don't even HAVE to worry about getting the 6th seed IMO. I mean you could argue that it'd be better to face DEN/MEM/LA than SA but SA is no OKC so it's not like we'd have worry about (IMO) an instant first round knockout if we stay at 7th seed.

We have losing records against all those teams. We lost to the Thunder twice. The only time we won was when both Harden and Lin went God mode after All-Star Game.
