1. Nate Robinson This guy just just keeps getting it done big time. How can anybody not like him? I'll be looking to fill out the rest of my starters but he's at the top of the list.
Gonna have to put Jimmy Butler on there too. And probably Beverley but don't know how they'd play together.
Because he doesn't play good D Because he's selfish Because he's a punk sometimes Because he takes 100 dunk attempts in the dunk contest I like him though.
Jimmy Butler isn't on the minimum though, he's on the 1st round salary, albeit lower end. Parsons is also slightly above the minimum. I'd add lance Stephenson but he's also a little bit above... this isn't easy lol
J.O'Neal Birdman Blatche Crowder Parsons Budinger L.Stephenson J.Taylor Beverley I.Thomas HN: N.Robinson, B.Roberts, G.Neal, Livingston, G.Smith, K.Martin (I win. )
interesting thread btw ok, so basically i'm keeping it simple and looking at players at or under $854,389, which is what most people call the minimum. rookies can make less than that during their 1st and 2nd year, but whatever. g Nate Robinson g Ronnie Brewer f Matt Barnes f Kenyon Martin c Greg Smith 6th man Isaiah Thomas
some notable bigs: Brandan Wright Greg Smith Ryan Hollins Chris Anderson Joel Przybilla Louis Admundson Chris Copeland (essentially a stretch pf) Kenyon Martin Kurt Thomas (injured/done) Rasheed Wallace (injured/done) Kyle O'quinn Jermaine O'neal I'd probably pick between Jermaine, Brandan Wright, and Greg Smith here for my 5 spot. Although Chris Anderson has looked good in Miami but it's a little difficult to tell if he's just picking up scraps from the big 3.
Did Butler go in the first? Sorry about that. Couldn't remember. I thought he was a second rounder on a minimum deal.
I never thought Lance Stephenson would make it. I thought he'd be in prison by now. But he's had somewhat of a breakout season. Still don't like him but he's proving he can play anyways. I like Taylor. Like Crowder too but don't think's he's a PF.
But he wins games man. Can't ignore that. He's been a winner everywhere and he's down in the trenches taking on great point guards every night. Nate is a huge reason why Chicago hasn't tanked into the lottery with DRose gone.
Matt Barnes is a scumbag. That is all. He isn't, but I think he could play PF in the right system, just like Wilson Chandler plays mostly PF for the Nuggets. I just thought he'd complement the other guys I listed better than, say, Kenyon Martin would.
Nate/Isaiah CBud/Willie Green Chandler Parsons/Matt Barnes Jermaine O'Neal/Brandan Wright Andray Blatche/Antwan Jamison
Everyone on my line-up will be paid less than $1mil. in the 12/13 season from their current team (I think). PG Isiah Thomas SG Chandler Parsons SF Chase Budinger PF Andray Blatch C Chris Anderson Bench: Lance Stephenson Matt Barnes Derek Fisher Kenyon Martin Gary Neal Greg Smith
