    With the win against the Kings yesterday, they clinched finishing above .500 for 7 straight years. This is the 4th longest current streak in the NBA (5th if Mavs manage to make it above .500 this year). Can you name the other 3?

    Say what you want about the Rockets, but they can't call us losers!

    First two are correct. The other two guess are good guesses, but no. This third team actually has a longer streak than the Lakers.

    The right way to rebuild. Ask the the Bobcats, Wizards, Bucks, Kings, Raptors, Pistons, TWolves, Magic, Suns and etc if that worked????

    How many teams successfully got better by tanking UM..... Thunder, Spurs and????

    Teams that acquired a superstar Rockets, Heat, Lakers, Celtics, Knicks
    THE REAL TEAMS THATS WHY THEY HAVE CHAMPIONSHIPS

    Bingo. They never went through a "rebuilding year" after trading Melo. Very well run organization like the Rockets.

    Here's another question. Would you rather be relevant every year like the Nuggets or Mavs (pre-championship) but never win the whole thing or capture lightning in a bottle and win one year but suck all the other years (let's say the Heat never got Lebron and Bosh and continued to suck after 06).

    Note also that this ties the franchise record for most consecutive winning seasons, set by Dream and company from 1991-1997, though that was a couple of 41-win seasons away from being twice as long.

    Congrats to the Rockets organization and players.

    This was asked in another recent thread.

    Very tough to answer ..... I saw people answer "consistent winning" over "title within losing" and I thought no WAY, I want the taste of the CHAMPIONSHIP. I'd LOVE to have the feel of a 2-PEAT again.

    But then the consistent winning makes sense. It think its cuz LOSING itself is THAT much of DRAIN on you. Too MUCH of it can take a toll on you, no matter how much sensible plan there is to it.
