All in bold are guys I'd like us to consider or go after in FA.

I'd love to somehow be able to trade for a guy like Riley Cooper from the Eagles. He would definitely fit our system and could automatically replace KW as the only white receiver in the rotation/starting lineup.

The Texans have $3,813,260.00 in cap room.

Jaguars, Browns, Bengals, Bucs & Eagles have the most cap room.

Rams, Redskins, Raiders, Steelers have the least cap room.

Question. has there ever been a 3- way trade in NFL?

since i hear that Washington gonna trade Kirk Cousins how about we trade for him and give them the 4th round pick and then we can turn around and then trade Matt to Browns, for a 3rd rounder + young LB and then go to draft. this way we can have more cap space and then sign a WR. and then in Draft we can go after NT in first rounder and S in Second and WR in 3 / 4 th round and we should be okay. What u guys think?

Cousins was a 4th round pick and played decently well in his limited playing time, even winning rookie of the week award once. He's also still on his rookie contract which is not expiring soon, why would the Redskins trade him for a 4th round pick in a year of a weak QB draft class and an injured RGIII?

The Skins may be interested in trading Cousins because they signed Pat White who kind of makes sense as a backup to RGIII because of their similar styles. But yeah, Cousins stock has risen. They're not giving him up for a 4th rounder. And the Texans 4th would be worse because it's a low 4th while the Skins spent a high 4th. They're going to get back more than what they paid. I'm not sure what that is, but if they trade him, they'll profit from their investment and won't be content to simply break even.

Yep. but do you see him fitting Kubiak play style. i think skins do that trade bc they know its the right time to get him out. since they signed White. they will have too many QB's on roster. and i think we can pick him up and then let matt go (maybe we trade him this season and save on cap or we let him walk next season) due to we will need as much cap space as we can to sign JJ and Cushing. i dont think they will be coming cheap.

    1) Cousins isn't better than Schaub. Not currently anyway.
2)Washington still isn't letting him go for what you want to pay.

find a $1 mil and do a hard sell on this guy. He's a very good zone-blocking RT in a bad RT market.

    Falcons released RT Tyson Clabo.
It's a salary cap move as the Falcons work toward a Matt Ryan extension. Clabo started 100 games and made one Pro Bowl during his seven-year Atlanta career, but was owed $4.5M in each of the next three seasons. In-house replacement Lamar Holmes will make just $480K in 2013. Still, it's surprising to see ProFootballFocus' No. 5 right tackle get axed. Clabo turns 32 in October, but there are plenty of teams in need of a 6'6/329 mauler. He joins Andre Smith and Eric Winston in a surprisingly loaded free agent right tackle market.

I would be understanding with staying pat before this announcement. ...complete agreement. PFF usually has it right in their subjective player rankings, and I would feel better with this addition.

Clabo will most likely be out of our price range. Dude's a stud, if he would come relatively cheap then obviously you've gotta be all for it.

Agreed but what it does do is continue to water down the RT market which helps us significantly by driving the price down

I say we give them a fourth and one of our 3rds since we have two 3rd rounders this year.
