Last night in the pregame they replayed an earlier interview in which he said he would never suggest to a coach how many minutes a player should play. he said nothing will ruin a relationship with a coach any faster. this morning they talked about adelman because he won his 1000th game last night. he said one of adelman's strengths was to always allow players to get credit for winning and stay out of the way of that .
here is the rest of the interview, Rockets talk starts up again around 4:55 <iframe width="658" height="371" scrolling="no" src="http://www.sports790.com/player/embed.html?autoStart=false&useFullScreen=true&mid=23057780&osu=null&startButtonColor=0xffffff" frameborder="0" allowtransparency="true" ></iframe>
I noticed that also. i have noticed the development of his media relationship since he started with the rockets. he is funny when he isn't reserved
Harden was the most efficient player in the league in isolation last season (roughly about 1.15 ppp). OKC ran about 100+ possessions with Harden iso. Each vertical line indicates efficiency in PPP and each layer indicates per 100 plays.
Today, I think it's just that he's in a good mood- solid road win, plus Utah loss putting team ever closer to playoffs. Maybe he's finally gotten some sleep after coming back from Europe. Longer term development: He seems to have gotten comfortable with Matt and Adam so they sound like guys just having a conversation. Contrast this with the infamous Josh Innes interview where the host was clearly trying to score points and made Morey look bad. I also noticed during last week's interview when they had both Morey and Rockets CEO Tad Brown on that Brown sounded like the outsider among the 4 guys (not in a bad way, but sounded like that 3 of them were just chatting and Brown was there to perform a chore).
