    To be honest I would prefer to stay in 7th seed and face the Spurs without Ginobili than the Clippers. OKC might grab first seed.

    That's exactly what I thought. Houston's win and Utah's loss equals 2 games since we own the tiebreaker. Somebody correct me if I am wrong.

    We can win 3 more games and lose a 3-way tie-break with Utah/LA. Magic number technically 4.

    This is why it's always better to have a tougher schedule in the beginning of the season where the bad teams aren't yet tanking

    With tonight's win....we've secured for a Playoffs spot. Nothing to worry. The reason?? We still got 2 home games against weak teams. Getting one of those is enough. 43 wins or more is enough and will be hard for the bottom teams to catch up.

    We're at 42 wins right now. If we win 3 more that would put us to 45 wins. Meaning the Lakers and Jazz have to go 6-1 and 6-0, respectively in order to tie us. We win 4, we're in 100%. As i've said before, the magic number to make the playoffs is 45. But yeah, the magic number is 4 right now.

    b. More Than Two Teams Tied
    (1) Division leader wins tie from team not leading a division.
    (2) Better winning percentage in all games among the tied teams.

    Not sure if this is correct...if we all end up tied, and assuming we lose to the lakers the finals game, we'd have a 5-3 record against the Lakers/Jazz combined...the best record of the three teams (Lakers would be 3-4, Jazz would be 3-4). Am I missing something?

    no cuz if there is a 3 way tie then it goes by the record between the tied teams.

    Rockets will have the better record no matter what.
