    Can anybody help me out? When using the reddit stream it plays for about 5 seconds then stops and audio continues to play.

    If you are talking about the VLC stream.

    You need to reset your VLC cache.

    Click start button, type in reset cache...you should see it pop up for vlc. Click it.
