Mysynergysport.com The stats are fine, but you shouldn't pay much attention to the rankings, since they aren't done by position nor do they have qualifying stats (if you've only played 5 minutes all season, but haven't allowed a point you are ranked #1 defensively).
anyways ive said my piece and I am moving on...my point was it isnt far fetched to say parsons in as good or better then batum.
Does anyone have that Rudy Gay/Chandler Parsons comparison, along with salaries, someone posted here a while back?
He is a below average SF is what Rudy Gay is. Gay has more production because he is the Raptors number one option when he really shouldn't be. If parsons got more touches he would produce far more efficiently than Gay every does. And yes Gay is grossly overpaid. Rudy Gay is an inefficient chucker & wishes he was as good as Parsons. Chandler is a better passer, just as good of a rebounder. Rudy Gay is a black hole. The Raptors have a loosing record with him & Memphis has a winning record without him. Parsons is so much better it isn't even funny.
I dont think any of the following have as complete a game as Parsons Rudy Gay Paul Pierce Luol Deng Danilo Gallinari Thaddeus Young They may be better in one aspect or another but not their overall games. Just go compare the #'s.
to be fair, they had a losing record without him also. They are 11-17 (39%) with Gay, 16-30 3(5%) without Gay... so all that money buys you are 4% increase in winning percentage

By stats, if Parsons doesn't even stand out among his peers, aren't some of you overrating Parsons among the league? Parsons is who he is; an average all around player who does everything and on an outstanding contract that translates into great value for the team. With that said, he is still young and look forward for further improvement.
1.Lebron 2. Durant 3.Carmelo Mucky group Deng/Pierce/George/ Mucky group #2 Batum/Parsons/Gallo/Leonard/Hayward/Gay
other way round, he's more of a 2, but he's probably the closest thing to a natural swingman the league has.
wowowowwwow! Comparings Parsons to Detlef? Detlef was a Porsche my friend. I like Parsons but he's like the first car I bought myself - a Passat. Parsons is in Long Time Starters if we're being real. He's never gonna be an all star unless Harden and Lin get him there.
