Yeah they've played on Wednesday for like two months straight. It's worked out awesome for me cuz my friend is off Thursdays and he has CSN Houston, so a couple of our buddies go over there every Wed night for rockets/drinking. Thank u schedulers!!
So we're still not sure about Harden? I say take it as slowly as possible. We need him to be 100% for the playoffs. If he does come back, I hope the last 2 games is enough to make McHale stagger Lin and Harden's minutes more. I feel like we played our best basketball in December when they were being staggered. Small sample size aside I think they both give our offense different looks. Harden is more of a drive-and-dish type, and snipers like Beverly, Delfino and Chandler really benefit. Whereas Lin is more of a PnR type, where the bigs like Asik, Smith and D-Mo really benefit. Plus it'll give Harden more rest which should help his/team D more. Harden wasn't a bad defender in OKC, he just didn't play 40 minutes. Also, with Manu going down. Does anyone else think our best bet is hoping the Spurs drop to 2 and we stay at 7? And I read somewhere that Lawson is out for a while. Is it too much to hope that we go up to 6 and the Nuggets stay at 3 then? Either way, all these injuries are nothing but good news for us. One last thing. Lin fans, you need to understand that most people on this forum LIKE Lin. They just don't like YOU! Don't give them any reason to dislike either and please act like adults on this forum. Go Rockets!
No, not really. Minutes don't have much to do with lins numbers, its his role. He's not going to put up huge numbers playing off the ball alot as a third option. And that's fine, just don't expect him to have jrue holiday numbers
I'd say its about as bad as wanting a sub par player like Beverley ( or Machado or Douglas, jeez some of you are ridiculous ) take his spot because you don't like him. Not directed at you btw because I don't keep track of the idiots, but its hard to deny this doesn't happen. Hell, it happens with parsons as well. The idiots who want to trade harden are on a completely different level though, that amount of stupid is impressive.
Hard to tell. If you are playing off the ball you usually play off the catch as well. Instead of walking the ball up or holding it at the perimeter while the d sets up, he needs to take the ball and make a decisive move. Playing off the ball only helps as the defense is moving to adjust for him. I honestly don't get why some of you take it as an insult to harden. All of them need to move off the ball more, it does nothing but ****ing help create easier looks.
McHale's plan is raining 3, if that didn't work, shoot more 3. I am so sick and tire of seeing all the Rockets did in the pass was shooting 3. Last 2 games is more like it. It is in line with other better team. 3 points is an option, but NOT the only option.
Anyone know if parsons is playing tonight? I'm in my leagues fantasy final and I need to know if he's playing or not so I can either play him or bench him lol sorry if the questions been asked already.
Harden will want to show how necessary he is after his absence. And want to get back to work on that scoring average too. He'll be on for this game. We will play well. We will win.
Kings are battling Minnesota for the 12th spot western conference bragging rights. This is gonna be a close one. -Greg for 20/11 on 85% dunks. -TRob with 4 blocks and 13 rebounds and a dunk from halfcourt. -Rockets squeeze by, 179-61 in extra innings.
