I am so glad Howard hit those FTs. Hackashaq is the dumbest thing in the sport and the NBA needs to make a rule against it because it is not basketball. Just make it so that off ball fouls allow the offense to choose the shooter.
Morey would say something like you can hack a Howard 3 times and he goes 3/6 statistically you would need to make 2/3 three pointers to outscore them by 3 and 1 will give make it a wash. So Dallas is out of the playoffs after making them for 12 consecutive seasons. Feels good man.
NBA Standings LOL @ the Lakers being tied in every category and still being out of the playoffs. They only play the Jazz 3 times this season and won one of them. If they finish the season with a better conference record it won't matter. I still think they are gonna make it.
Yes, I complain about it whenever it is done. It is the stupidest thing n the sport. i would root against the Clippers when Dunleavy used to do it (it never worked).
It very rarely works because it gives the team a chance to get their defense set, and transition offense off missed shots and turnovers is the best way for a team to come back. But that's not really the point. It's simply not basketball and should be outlawed.
Seriously though, Dallas didn't play well enough to win this game and dirk was off all night pretty much which likely meant a loss. Right now Dallas depends on a 35 year old Dirk. It's about that time Cuban trades Dirk IMO while he can still get some good rebuilding pieces for him. No young superstar is going to come there to play with him at this point.
If the Lakers making the playoffs over the Jazz comes down to the last game of the season, I hope the Rockets play hard and win. I know many prefer to see the Lakers in the playoffs, or just flat out hate the Jazz...but 3.5 future hall of famers not making the playoffs would be funny ass sheet man.
