Funny because Thor may be among my favorite comic movies. Definitely better than Iron Man 2 and Capt America (which I liked).

The first Thor was so incredibly horrible. I don't think I could bring myself to watch this one until it comes out on cable or maybe network TV.

The first Thor was pretty cheesy and the final battle... didn't feel like a battle at all. It was a drama. However I felt it was way better than Capt, which I found to be the worst of the Avengers set up.

    Will most likely watch this.

I don't think it was horrible but not in the same league as the other Marvel comic movies... Chris Helmsworth I'm just not a fan of the guy. I'd like to see this guy be Thor:

It just seemed like Thor was thrown together at the last second or something...the writting and flow of the movie were so bad. All the fight scenes seemed forced and some of the special effects were B rated. Just horrible. I really liked Ironman, really like Avengers...thought Capt America was meh. Thor was such a let down...but that's just me. :(

And yeah, Sean Bean might have made a good Thor, but he'd have to put on some muscle, and at his age that might be tough for him...isn't he almost 50? (ah, just checked, dude is 53)

Wait... so Thor goes back to Middle Earth, takes gf--conveniently leaves her hot lesbian friend behind--and heads back to battle against alien elves that makes Elrond look like Santa's little helper?

What was the purpose of bringing powerless hot gf along if it puts her life in danger?

Even gods can get blue balls. Unfortunately it was the same time as this invasion.

Personally prefer them moving the action off world instead of the more Earth based action which I thought was the weakest part of the original.

The first Thor movie was decent but should have been great.

At least it wasn't the garbage of Captain America, which was only saved by Hayley Atwell's.....attributes.

Maybe it's difficult to make a good movie about costumed dudes who look like they got lost on their way to a Halloween party:

    "Are you looking for it?"

"It's too dark, I can't see the addresses. I think that house is 2402. No, wait. 2462. Back up."

"I am NOT backing up. Driving around with you dressed like Thor....Gawd! At least take the Viking cap off til we get there."

"Me?! You look like a casting extra for that 'Harvey Milk' movie. Just shut up and look for the address....There! With all the cars."

"Thank God. Stop here, let me out."

He's the one you could say they completely blew it with. His character is so boring anyway. His costume made me cringe every time i saw him on the Avengers. Looks out of place and cheesy like a Halloween costume.

I did not expect to like Thor. I did anyway.

Natalie Portman doesn't hurt their case.
