If we can get Love, then this team can complete a championship during next ten years. Love is the best player we are dreaming for, hopefully Morey could have a lucky trade like Harden's deal. If we can not get him, he is likely going to join Lakers.

Then he's going to be making 15 million/year. My mistake. Thanks.

Rubio is not worse than Jeremy Lin. But if he gets the Max, Lin's contract becomes a bargain.

Here goes my crazy Love trade scenario

Rockets trade- Asik, Dmo, T-rob, TJones
    Get- Love, Stiemsma

    Twolves trade- Love, Stiemsma
Get- Asik, Dmo, T-rob, Taylor, Blazers 1st rd pick (Bobcats)

Bobcats trade- Taylor, Blazers 1st rd pick
    Get- TJones

Sign Pekovic in the offseason for a 4yr/50mil deal.

    Lin/Beverley
    Harden/Anderson
    Parsons/Delfino
    Love/Smith
    Pekovic/Stiemsma

Just like some said Lebron James and Wade wouldn't mesh. Love would free Asik to be even better on defense.

How? By making Asik cover his own man too? Love can't guard anyone. He's an upgrade over DMo but that isn't saying much.

I don't understand why it would even be a question of if klove is worth the max. He's arguably the best pf in the league and he's only 24. His max would be 15/yr. two offensive studs in love and harden. Defensive minded players at the 5 and 3. And good two way players to fill out the roster. Legit contender

You are wrong. And that is an unlucky post. I don't care that your post count is 777. You can find fault in pretty much every player in the league sans lebron or Durant. Everyone says Dwight sucks on offense and can't shoot free throws. Kobe sucks on d. Westbrook is not a real pg and is not a smart player. Carmelo is a black hole on offense. Chris Paul is always injured and won't mesh well with ball dominant harden. Josh smith mid or outside range. Blah blah blah.

I think that love and harden will improve on defense in time they are young and if they don't have to carry the offense every single night they would and should devote more energy to defense.

If we sign Kevin Love, say goodbye to run n' gun and dominating the fast break. Love doesn't run the floor too well, if he does, his injury rate will skyrocket.

According to the SportVU camera people, Kevin Love spends more time at full sprint than any other NBA player.

I would trade literally the entire roster except for James Harden for Kevin Love. If it actually meant we had to sign 13 D-league players to fill out the roster spots, I would do it.

There is no price you can put on a Harden/Love combo. Absolutely lethal with Love drawing big men out to the perimeter and Harden abusing the interior.

I would rather have a line up of

    Greg Smith
    Kevin Love
    Chandler Parsons
    James Harden
    Patrick Beverley

Than the line-up we have right now. That's how much I think of pairing Love with Harden. That's how well I think Love can compliment Smith. That's a team that can run like crazy, rebound like crazy and score a lot.

Asik wouldn't have to focus so completely on rebounding. This would free him up to focus on defense.

Love's defense is fine. To act like he can't play defense is BS.

As long as I can keep Harden, we should trade any player to get Love, then we can have two all star players, Morey can easily get good role players after the trade. I do not think Love will stay Wolves because of the cool weather, he would like to join Lakers, but we have a good chance because we have money and the young Harden, Lakers has the old Howard, and no much money.

You don't actually watch him play, do you?

Minny played at a higher pace in 2010-11 than we've been going this year. They played at a fast pace last year too.

Love's not the fat kid he was at UCLA. I think he said last year that he was down to about 240.

Why does this guy Wessel think Rubio is worth the max. An injury kept him out for parts of his 1st and 2nd season so what has he really proved. He can't shoot and he makes fancy passes and Wessel wants Kahn to give him the max.

Love seems to have worn out his welcome in MN, seems to be deliberately provoking the Wolves because they don't want to give him the max.

i don't see what the problem is with having two elite rebounders. Plus, he complements the rest of the starters with his 3 pt shooting and his overall scoring ability. If a lot of people missed what Patterson brought to this team, then why don't they want love? He does everything better (you could argue his defense was worse). I mean there is no better acquirable 4 than him. I want to guess that your one of the people who wants Josh Smith.

That article is stupid. I would take Love over Rubio any day of the week.

you're joking right -- Love will enhance the fast break game. One of Love's underutilized talents is his outlet pass. He is a master at it - he used it way more in college than in the NBA so far. He rebounds and outlets and starts the break easy -- like in the game last night vs the Magic -- Asik had an outlet that Bullard called "walton-esque" (something like that) which was an easy layup for Lin -- now thats something Love can and has done on a regular basis.

Love isn't a good defender by any means - he is probably a better on the ball defender than off the ball (again not saying much though) but he can move his feet well enough to be able to not get totally killed on the perimeter and has the strength to not get bullied around (like D'mo does). Not to mention since he is a star - the refs tend to lean towards his favor when it comes to calls more often than not.

offensively he gives the team a way to play a 1/2 court game for once - right now there is no real post threat outside of D'mo which is sad. Love fixes that and when the team has to play a slower game he can still help the team score. Not to mention the way Asik and him will help each other rebound like crazy.

The guy is a star - the last 3 seasons (including this one) where he finally averaged over 30 mins a game he averaged 22 and 14 boards per game. Despite his injuries this season he averaged 18/14. His injuries are concerning but none of them are of the chronic type (back, knees, feet) that typically plague big men. They were random injuries to his hands and so forth.

Not to mention he is also young - he will turn 25 in september this year and already has a good relationship with our current star Harden

I dont think Morey has a chance to get Love but I would give up anyone on this roster outside of Harden and possibly Asik to get him.
