Games on ESPN/TNT/TBS won't be blacked out. But if for some reason they put the games on NBATV, those might be.

I know a lot of people are big on the "Houston sports" crap but I just can't stand the Astros. I like the texans but seriously SCREW the Astros.

Someone bumped a thread about rocketsvision from 2000 and it got merged with the CSN thread. It looks out of place now :(

so what did you ended up getting from the guy? Usually when they see you already got discount or special offer, they're not really authorized to give you more discount, as greedy as you'd like to be.. Might have to transfer to a manager or retention dept.

Hopefully, as soon as a deal gets reached a bunch of people ditch Comcast.

I got nothing, he drew his line in the sand and just kept repeating the same "company line/apology." I guess at that point I could've asked to speak to someone else, but I knew (and I think he did too) that I wasn't going to cancel. I've only been with DirecTV since Nov.

I agree that they are doing a lot of things right, but it will get worse before it gets better. We are right in the middle of where it is approaching its worst before it turns around.

Agreed 100%. But there may be a time that they will have "artistic differences" and the break up should lead to some interesting drama. If/when that time comes, I just hope us fans don't have to pay for it again like 60% of us are right now!

You're only looking at the major league club and even that is debatable. The franchise as a whole is past the worst days, as evidenced by their strong W-L record of their minor league system as well as the consensus among the experts that our system is rapidly approving and now ranked in the top 3rd.

Better to keep your mouth closed and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt and what not.

That's assuming the minor league talent translates into major league talent. They have better depth now in the minor leagues, don't know if they have franchise players.

Still better than a couple years ago when they had no minor league talent at all.
