like i said earlier, the series here last june was the exact same way... i went to the friday night game and it was a madhouse. most fun i've had at an astros game in looooooong time. there's nothing contrived about it IMO.
God, that orange uniform is sexy. Love the new unis. I'd say we have one of the best looking uniforms in the majors now. Definitely help's that blue/orange permeates our culture (color theory states that blue and orange are the most aesthetically pleasing color combinations). Looking forward to reading about this team this year as I won't be able to watch for obvious reasons (I love reading about the minor league system though).
look at how small the ball looks in Watt's hands, and what's up with that face? Looks like he's putting everything he's got into the pitch, lol
i wonder how jd martinez got the privledge of catching watt... everyone was joking how it should have been martinez getting watts autograph and not the other way around..
The remaining games will also be on Fox Sports Southwest... although of course, you'll be getting the Rangers crew.
I'm not saying it has some interesting add bits to it. Of course having some fans close by will bring cheers and boo's. However, I've been to Braves games, both stadiums, and I've always felt like that was a bigger rivalrly, much bigger than any with the Rangers. Then you had the Card's, the Reds were slowly developing. In my opinion the Astros Rivalry list pre this year... 1. Cardinals 2. Braves 3. Then maybe Rangers, I duno. But they aren't our rival IMO, not yet at least, could that change? Absolutely. Could I be wrong? Absolutely. It's just my opinion.

6 guys hitting left-handed. I like that. Edit: Darvish has good splits, only giving up a .674 OPS to LHB vs. .640RHB
That might be our best hitting lineup right there. Gotta have Castro's bat in the lineup as much as possible; he's one of the top 5 bats on the team. I am wondering why Corp's already getting playing time. I wonder if they want to make him Harrell's personal catcher.
Doesn't mean I have to like it. Since tomorrow is a day game, Corporan was probably going to catch today or tomorrow anyway. I thought I saw Porter indicate he didn't like to designate personal catchers.
Why? Concerned about having to use a pitcher in the lineup if Castro replaces Corporan, or both getting hurt simultaneously?
