    Just in case the Rockets' playoff hopes will depend on the very last game --which is against the Los Angeles Lakers, who owns the tiebreak? Lakers or Rockets?

    After the Denver game, if we would have had won three out of four, I think the Rockets would be extremely close to ensuring a playoff spot.

    If we're in, I'd love to see us play the Nuggets or LA Clippers. Even if the Rockets haven't had much success against these team, having reached the playoffs after a full 82 game season, I think the Rockets should be confident going in, regardless of whom they'll face.

    After 82 games, you gotta want to win any playoff series, be it Denver, LA, or Memphis. You gotta have the mindset of a winner, of a hungry lion, of someone wanting to prove something.

    the Rockets lead the series 2-1 so if they win that game, they clinch it.

    if the Lakers win, however, it would come down to conference records, one category in which the Lakers currently lead.

    in your scenario, the only way for the Rockets give up a 2.5 game lead on the Lakers and allow themselves to be in that position would be to drop their remaining conference games (Monday's game vs Orlando is the last non conference game on the schedule)

    so that would pretty much be a must win for Houston

    The hell? Dallas, Utah, and especially the Lakers who have lost 4 of their last 6 games will be extremely lucky to win even 43 games. The Rockets have already won 40 and have home games against Orlando and Phoenix. Relax.

    Since Ginobili is now out for next three to four weeks (and likely first round of the playoffs), I think we should mirror them so that we can play them 1st round.

    spurs are starting to be plagued by injuries perhaps 7th or 8th seed would be better off than 6th

    spurs will almost certainly finish with the second seed. Id be shocked if thunder lost another game.

    I think April 4th we will know for sure.... OKC vs SPURS (spurs on the second night of back to back without ginobli)

    I think Jazz only have 4 more wins in them.

    I think the Lakers only have 5.

    Yeah, they could actually end up tied at 42-42. Jazz own the tiebreaker. If you ask me, i'd rather see the Lakers make the 9th seed. Either them or the Mavs. Jazz are just so boring to watch. Would also be nice to see the Thunder just pick the Lakers apart. ;)
