#1 we didn't sneak out the win, they were never any closer than 5 in the fourth. #2 you thought it was reckless when the starters sat the 4th of the Grizz game and the next night spanked the Clippers. McHale is of Popovich buts he deserves better than what you are giving him.
If you really need a comment to point out your blatantly logical fallacies, then you are even more dense than I would have thought.
In general, didn't criticize him once this game. He had a good game. Just one poster was angry at McHale for not giving Lin minutes to pad stats.
If GSmith and ASik keeps this up, we would definetely surprise few teams during the playoffs. We might finally get some inside game with these two beasting. GSmith needs to stay away from foul troubles and we are set. Plus Garcia has been beasting as well, I can see quality backup for Parsons when he comes back. Man, we have soooo much potential as a team, it's scary. All we need is for JLin and Harden to mesh and we are soooo set.
On the subject of standings, we are 2 and 1/2 ahead of Utah (with the tiebreaker) and 3 ahead of the Lakers. We and the Lakers have 8 left, Utah 7 left. Anyone want to take a shot at how many wins will do it for us...45,46 ?
I for one never buy the hot hand theory. McHale just takes gamble from game to game and Russian roulette his way to the "right" combination. He has this odd faith in his bench players, much more than his starters not named Harden and Parsons.
don't let me stop you, but asik in his 3rd season has developed more of an Offensive game than Divaman #12. If he can improve his hands just a little more, he can easily be a 14 point a game center, with democratic ball of coure.
You don't really know if it would actually boost their confidence or not because they were slowly losing their lead in the 4th quarter. It might have opposite effect.
2.5/3 games now, and with only 8 games to play, the Jazz will have to go 7-0 to pass us if we just go 4-4. And we play Sacramento and Phoenix twice during this stretch.
Not sure if Harden is going to play up in Sac, but I believe these past two wins are big for the Rockets. It was a recipe for disaster, but I think these two games showed the coaching staff that Lin, more than anyone, was up to the task of leading the team to Ws. We all know Asik has always been pretty consistent. Smith, Anderson, and Garcia stepped up big when needed as well.
I don't think teams are going to let us play at our pace in the post season I really struggle to see that happen. We shall see though.
