Well, he's not from Harvard/Cambridge/Boston. You don't develop an accent in just 4 years unless you're Madonna or something.

Lin sounds like Matt Saracen from Friday Night Lights. Same kind of drawl.

Superstar. I'm trying to give you the benefit of the doubt, but why are you trolling?? Do you hate Lin that much?? This was not even about Lin and you're trying to start crap for what?

I know it's been stated before but let's be reasonable people. If you look at the big picture, how many coaches could take the youngest team in the league who had no off season together and bring them this far? Not to mention he had to deal with the unspeakable tragedy of his daughter dying and he had to completely change up the rotations with a mid season trade. I'm on board. I may not agree with some of his decisions sometimes, but that's why I'm not an NBA coach. Our record should look more like Orlando's. This season has been remarkable. /rant

Wow. Not sure what to say about this game.

The Rockets starters played great. The bench was really weak.

And McHale... that was a reckless gamble leaving in the bench the entire 4th quarter. Fighting for play off position and you leave in the bench and let them run the score all the way to FIVE points? Seriously?

Yah, we won but that 4th quarter coaching position was appalling.

McHale was lucky to pull out a win after that horrible decision.

Out of 54 rebounds, DMO had 2 !! No one had less than him. In fact, only Garcia's 2 matched him.Every single player had 3 (Beverley & Lin), Delfino 6, Anderson 8,TROB 8 in 13 minutes vs. 33 mins for DMO. I mean seriously, how in the hell can you get ONE rebound in 33+mins. He was 0-4 from 3 and 4-11 elsewhere. You take away those 9 pts. and one rebound during those 33 mins. and we are in deep trouble.

Really confused by D-Mo tonight. He looked off, slow and hesitant.

Asik, Lin and Garcia played well...more than made up for Harden/Parsons' absence. I was really hoping for a 20-20 game but guess McHale really wanted to rest his starters for the 3 game swing out West.

Uggh, another scare in the 4th with the Orlando run. 18 point lead down to 5. BIG GAMBLE by McHale there. Wow. Asik with the huge look of worry then relief at the end.

Smith needs to keep his head up and not let those fouls discourage him; he’s doing a good so far in the 4. The defense by Smith and some of the bench guys are still quite loose, so I wonder if McHale gambled like that with Smith in there to give him some confidence back after those 5 fouls. It was crazy move by coaching.

Asik and Lin anchored the team, especially in the 3rd. Lin had a solid game facilitating for everyone and got the Houston 4&5 plenty of baskets. I was hoping to see Asik with 20 rebounds. :)

It’s great to see all these guys step up on effort while Harden and Parsons are out. Hopefully they are both healthy enough to come back on this three game road trip. I want to see this team beat Denver.

He needs more sand in his pants. D-Mo fights hard and gives effort in the paint, but you can only do so much with his frail body.

Why exactly do you think AB is useful? He cant defend for ****. And we don't know was Jones can do for the team in an actual game. Mchale plays the players that work their tails off in practice. Maybe Jones isn't doing that or maybe everyone else is just outworking him.

Smith starting really shows a lot. I remember I posted about DMo being the weakest link in the starters and disrupting chemistry and got called out on it. His game is very out of the flow of the offense and he is very careless on D even when he is trying hard.

That's why you need to play your starters a little bit early so that come crunch time, they're hot. If you've got a comfortable lead by that time, then you can play your bench. I hope this does not happen in the playoffs or McHale's dead.

just too close to feel comfortable. 5 pts, they had the ball. luckily smith eventually got DRB to seal the deal. we need any win to have any chance to move up to 6th spot.

I wonder what kind of energy McHale was feeling in the last 2 minutes. I bet he needed to take a dump.

I didn't watch but tbh from what I've heard that is pretty scary. I turned it off with a 20 pt lead in the 4th.
