No way Harden is a very good SG when he doesn't force his shot, when he moves the ball and when he plays defense, he is a major contributor to the Rockets. Just give him some time and he will show you that he can live up to his contract. He is still young and will get better
this. these 'veteran' posters complain about LOF's on here and this is pretty much the exact same thing.
Why do they give the nuttiest people thread privileges? Could ya make some interesting threads rather than the same old LOF ones displaying your hatred towards our rising Superstar.
I like Harden when he doesn't force it when his shots aren't falling and he's not getting any calls, and actually plays decent defense. If he drives to the rim, gets hacked and gets no call, I'd like to see him rush back to defend instead of looking at the refs and sulk. He doesn't do that a lot, which is at least an encouraging sign.
Superstars play defense and make their teammates better. I'm not seeing that consistently from James. He does have the potental to be a Superstar as defense is mostly about effort and passing can be enforced by the coach.
No the Rockets are not better without Black Amish. If your coach left you out there 400 minutes more than your starting pg, its easy to see why Black Amish might develop some team counter productive habits or a sore ankle. The Rockets should always set up there offense regardless if J-Lin or Black Amish is in the game to maximize movement. Horns wheel, horns floppy crosses, 2 guard chin, flat cut or loop, and if you don't get any easy looks for every one then go iso with 7 seconds left in the 24. As opposed to dribbling around for most of the shot clock and then jacking up a contested shot or passing to a team mate who is already covered who has no choice but to shoot the contested 3. McH needs to get Black Amish to get to play more D. For our back court to play to its fullest potential Black Amish needs to be more of a two way player. Think about it Harden has the physical gifts to draw contact but no energy or desire to try and shut down the other teams sg. If we are going anywhere in the playoffs his d is an area that the team needs him to kick it up another level. With a higher tier coach this team could have been possibly be better than atleast the gsw or the grizz right now in the standings this season.
I'll give you the defense part, but if you don't think Harden makes his teammates better, you clearly are not watching the games... Asik, Parsons, and pretty much any shooter on the roster have greatly benefited from Harden's playmaking abilities.
I'll give you that - he is a good passer when he wants to be. The problem is that with him dominating the ball it greatly minimizes Lin's contribution. This limits the potential of the team. When Jeremy runs the offense EVERYBODY is involved and the team plays better. The facts bear this out. Also when the bigs get the rebound they should look down the court and if no one is open get it to Lin. There should be only 1 PG at a time on the court. Harden should get down the court if he doesn't get the rebound.
Have him come off the bench and watch Lin average about 10 T.O's from trying to do too much? LOL, No thanks.
James has a shoot first, pass second mentality which is what you want from a shooting guard. Sometimes because of this he has tunnel vision and doesn't see the open man. I've seen him miss the open man frequently which is something JLIN rarely does.
This is my top 10 1 Lebron 2 Durant 3 Rose 4 Kobe 5 CP3 6 Wade 7 Parker 8 Duncan 9 M Gasol 10 Howard Rose over CP3, yes. CP3 is a better floor general but Rose's athleticism lets him play as all 5 positions as he plays the PG. This creates multiple offensive scoring threats and very deceiving PnR plays for the Bulls. Not to mention he's a better scorer. Harden is outside the top 10 at the moment imo. He needs defense if he wants to break top 10 imo
Haha, I like how most people are joking, but there are some, who I shan't abbreviate into an acronym, that are being serious.
Agreed. I think Harden knows Lin is better than him, so he chooses not to pass it to Lin because he doesn't want Lin getting good stats and taking his all-star spot next year. Harden also has a habit of foot on the line when he shoots 3s, and jumping up in mid air not knowing what to do with the ball. Lin however is always under control.
I would really like to see some of you Coach an NBA team,,,I mean for real, ya'll act like ya'll have all the answers. lmbo
Harden is just too greedy and turnover prone. I would rather he never touch the ball unless it is off a pass for an open jumper from Lin. Unfortunately Harden has a low BBIQ.
HaHaHa. You've been laughing at me all year flamer. However as time goes by a lot of what I've been saying has been shown to be right. You'll never admit it but this but the April fool's joke is on you.:grin:
