he was looking for his teammates. is it tough to understand that? he just couldn't do it as good as cp3. but who can do same as cp3, a future hall of fame?

Heh, you always seem to be the one clamoring for the next gamethread, sophiaaa. Anyway, I second this. :grin:

 

Clutch, make two threads per game - one for civil and one for uncivil comments.

The primary one should have the descriptor "For civil and constructive commentating."

The other thread should have the descriptor "For general commentating, including any feelings you may have about Lin, Harden and the coaching staff."

That way, at least we can say to anyone who is spouting nonsense - "GO TO THE OTHER THREAD OR BAN."

Try it for one game?

 

Just not as much interest in the next game. Do we even know the starting lineup?

 

I appreciate this very reasonable post.

 

Asik is so awesome, I swear. Offense and defense. Lin was not that great last game, IMO, but a win is a win is a win. Our offense was not good last night (surprise, without Harden) but our defense was better. Our shots will come and go but our defense must be brought every game. Our starters better start playing with more urgency and not with that too cool to sweat attitude that we often start the quarter off with.

Finally, I like aggressive Lin but this was a bad game for him, imo. He's really gotta cut those turnovers out and start hitting his jumpshot when he's open. On to the next one.

 

Asik and Smith were huge in this game.

Any news on Harden?

 

The funny part is that the same LOHs that get banned will immediately create a new account to bash Lin. You can tell because those account write the same way. I really do feel sorry for those LOHs because it seems like they have nothing better to do than to spend hours of each day bashing on Lin.

Those few people have such a fixation on Lin that is borderline psychotic. Perhaps it is because they didn't make it to Harvard, or make it to the NBA, or have any endorsement deals.

 

I know alot of fans are upset about Lin's TOs and I agree it would be awesome if Lin can play aggressively and still have low TOs, but I thought it would be interesting to share with the fans Lin's stats this season so far in terms of his TO's and game wins/losses. It's really very very counter intuitive:

Some may say well maybe we won when Lin had those high TO games because Lin got benched. Well in those five 6 and 7 TO games above, Lin played between 27 to 35 minutes, and all those games except one lead to double digit wins for the Rockets.

If I were to be forced to explain this, I would speculate that perhaps when Lin is playing aggressively, his overall game is better, but he also tends to make more risky passes and thus has higher TOs. And when your PG is aggressive and playing "well", generally the whole team does well. Past stats also support the notion that when Lin has a high TO game, its not necessarily the end of the world.

This is a forum. People come to express their feelings, they are not paid professionals and they don't make sense a lot of times, but what harm can be done with some those nonsense as long as they don't use vulgar languages?

I am guessing that you as an administor maybe involving in the organization to a small degree, so you may know some of the personnel or maybe you have a business relationship with this organization. I don't know for sure, but I think you should refrain from commeting on them, especailly singing praises. It doesn't sound genuine to me.

 

Thank you for the highlights, the whole team played really well and Asik was in beast mode both offensively and defensively.:grin:

 

The lead was slowly slipping away...they have to put Jlin back to control the tempo of the game and he did.

The last sentence is absurd, but the statement about high percentage shots is not.

Assume a 2:1 assist to turnover ratio (Lin is 2.04:1 for the season) and 60% field goal percentage at the rim (Rockets season average), this translates to an effective field goal percentage of 40% (67% x 60%). This compares to the team's field goal percentage of 37% in the paint and mid-range.
