It's hard to watch, but it's just a broken leg. Worst injury I have seen is Willis Magahee. For some reason I think that a knee injury is worse than a leg break.

McGahee's injury certainly was nasty as well, but I can stomach that a lot easier than seeing a friggin bone sticking out of the skin...
Holy ****e, how did that break with such a routine landing after a jump? Just goes to show you how much luck is involved with professional athletes...you can train your whole life and just one freak accident ends your career. Just sad
Is a bone break harder to recover from than a ligament injury? I would think if the shin bone heals and becomes strong, he should have better chance to make a full recovery rather than someone who tears their knee ligaments? Any medical physicians here?
Pitino said it was a full year for recovery... I believe Michael Bush (the NFL RB, also went to Louisville) had a similar injury.

I was watching the game when it happened but I didn't think it was bad until they replayed it. That was the sickest thing I ever saw. Props to the Louisville players for shaking it off and winning the game.
