How long are you going to keep this up? I mean seriously, 5 years from now are you still going to be b****ing and moaning about this trade? Are you going to continue to make a new thread each day informing all of us about how this was such a bad trade?!? Patterson hasn't even been that great with Sacramento. Not that it hasn't already been said to you 1000x, but did we really lose that much from the trade? I mean REALLY? Just because you refuse to see Thomas Robinson's potential or trade value doesn't mean it isn't there. You just hate on him nonstop without providing any facts. It's like you don't even watch the games. When he does well, you blow it off. When he plays poorly, you troll the GARM with a new thread. You constantly say that "he sucks" without providing any evidence to back that up! He's a rookie. He's going to be inconsistent. He's not always going to get a lot of playing time. That is just how it's going to be for now. What T-Rob is doing as a rookie isn't much different than Patterson as a rookie. PPat is a better shooter, and T-Rob is a better rebounder. I'd rather have the latter. Look, we get it. You hate the trade. Your vagina was clearly hurt by this whole ordeal. But can you just ease off a bit with the ridiculous trolling, or is that just your way of getting off?
seeing as how the resident troll is too ashamed to update, allow me to oblige... patty pat pat with 0 points on 0-4 shooting, with a -2 for his new team in the +/- category. maybe the kings should have just kept francisco garcia and his big 15 points
Even after a bad shooting game, Patterson still has an ORTG of 118, or 27 points better than Robinson and the 2nd highest +/- on the SAC team (one of 2 guys with a positive number): http://www.nba.com/statistics/plusminus/plusminus_sort.jsp?pcomb=1&season=22012&split=9&team=Kings http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/p/pattepa01.html Patterson is also trusted to play crunch time minutes while Robinson played himself out of the rotation last night until garbage time. I will change my opinion on Robinson when the objective data changes on him. Right now, he is a guy who rebounds and has a few nice dunks but is overall extremely inefficient and not useful. Right now, Robinson is either the 4th or 5th best player involved in the trade. Pat, Toney, Cisco and maybe Aldrich all more useful for their teams.
Of course Daryl has stated several times that TRob was not acquired for this season but for future seasons. The chance to get a top 5 talent which PPat clearly is not. Not trying to bash you Carl, I know you will be back on track once the Rockets make the play-offs. Keep posting.
I hope Robinson makes an all-star game one day. Carl would get in a dark hole, lay down, curl up in a fetal position and never see the light again. Poor guy
Trolls be trollin. I didnt know we had any POF's arround. Just like all the other XOF's to the ignore list he goes.
Umm, Robinson did not play himself out of rotation. He played most of the game the night before and was part of the unit that bought the team back. The likely reason he was benched is because he's behind Dmo on the depth chart and now Smith will play PF. I love how you say "Right now" as if this trade is about "right now" everyone else knows it is not. Patterson bricked a ton of shots last night, proving that his shot isn't as money as people seem to remember. The point is though...that the Rockets are not really missing Patterson. They are still winning games and against tough teams...all without the great patterson. Which was the original point in the first place wasn't it?
I don't think that highly of Robinson or his potential and I liked Patterson as a person and I think Patterson is the better player right now (certainly the much better jump shooter), but Patterson was useless when it came to rebounding and just really disappointed after his initial season. So the trade doesn't really get me excited one way or another.

My feelings exactly. Patterson was like "not present" his second season. Better his third, but I never saw "all star" in his future. Robinson is raw but flashes some serious potential. Morris just never excited me. Even if Robinson never becomes a star, the trade is neither great nor horrible.
I actually think he said this trade could help us both short-term and long-term. Now I don't know if he really believed that. It could be just an auto-pilot comment he throws out there after every trade.
Thomas Robinson is terrible right now and has not shown many signs of getting much better even for the future. He has bad hands (one play vs Memphis where he rebounded the ball and immediately got stripped is the classic Robinson play), can't shoot, is out of control on his drives, turns the ball over in 20% if his touches. His +/- is also bad. The guy looks more like a future Tyrus Thomas than an Allstar Patterson has shown potential than Robinson. Robinson is so bad that he got beated out of a rotation spot by fellow rookie Motiejunas (who has been underwhelming himself) and Greg Smith, who was undrafted, is only 2 months older than Robinson and has 5 more games if NBA experience than Robinson coming into the season.
I'm a Patterson fan and even I knew his long-term outlook was a backup PF. Not a backup like Carl Landry, either, more like Brandon Bass level. If you think differently, just say so once or twice and please spare us all these troll posts.
he's in love with pat's body and if telling the whole wide web that he's in love is wrong, then he don't wanna be right
