    This game looks like a disaster waiting to happen...I'm thinking McHale should just pull a Pop and rest Harden, Lin, Asik, and Parsons...

    We can't get excited yet. We have the most road games remaining. I think the lakers are a lock with only two games left on the road.

    We really just have to assume Utah, LA, and Dallas are going to most likely win out the rest of the way. All three teams look to be playing the best ball of the season(except maybe Utah), and have vastly more playoff b-ball experience than the Rockets. LA, and Dallas have rosters built for playoff style games, and all have a fairly favorable schedule down the stretch.

    The Rockets must go something like 6-3 from here on out, and the final game of the season just might be the deciding game. Fans on here just dont seem to realize how vulnerable the Rockets are to losing out on a playoff birth.

    last night was so huge for us! im so glad we won.. i would be panicking if we lost last night because of LA and dallas and utah all are close to us in the standings

    Dallas and LA still have a game against each other, so they can't win out, and we have the tiebreaker against the Jazz...relax :grin:

    Lakers and Mavs play the 2nd. Winner will make the playoffs I'm thinking. Nobody's winning out. Rockets have the easiest schedule remaining, and Denver won't be as tough with Lawson out.

    It's 6. We can go less than that and still make the playoffs, IMO. But yeah, we win 6, and we're 100% in.

    They really don't have th easiest schedule. People just look at opponents but the rockets have two back to backs left and five road games.

    I fully agree with this. And Utah has won like 4 or 5 in a row. I would say Dallas and LA will lose only 1 or 2 more games for the remainder of the season (depending on who beats who in their head to head.

    Hate to admit it, but at this point I'm rooting for the Mavs...

    Utah missing the play offs combined with the Lakers missing the play offs with their ridiculous payroll would just be SO sweet that I can get over the concept of the Mavs sneaking in.

    That and I actually respect Mark Cuban. He's an idiot sometimes, but he's one of the few owners that has been willing to take the NBA and Stern to task.
