HBO has a free preview running on Dish , hope they don't end it before the first episode airs tomorrow

 

no HBO might have to pick up the blu rays at some point

 

I know Comcast was also advertising free HBO thru Sunday with all the season 1 and season 2 episodes on demand for free. Lots of times they do that for season premiers to get people hooked.

 

they're running an entire marathon today. I don't know how else to better spend Easter, avoid getting decapitated and hit the whorehouse afterwards.

 

DirecTV has an HBO free preview this weekend as well, it's supposed to go through Tuesday.

 

Went to church at 6am. Followed that up with a huge breakfast. Now I'm on the couch watching until I dose off.

It's lining up to be a good day.

 

early church is the way to go. We went to 715 this morning. Been watching since the shows started. Took a break for ham. Not a bad way to spend the day at all.

 

Sounds like a recipe for eyestrain, but it's for a good cause.

I realize this episode was a setup for more events to come for the rest of the season, but this was a pretty uneventful premier. Anywho.. I'm happy it's back.

 

I enjoyed it. That hour went by hella fast. There were several deviations once again, but I'm looking forward to seeing how they play out. There were a few scenes that seemed to hint at a few things possibly that I've been curious about after finishing up the last book several months ago.

Won't get too specific in this thread, but the scene between Tyrion and Tywin was particularly interesting because of something Tywin said that wasn't in the book and something Jorah said to Daenerys about how to get her Khalasar took my mind immediately to how the last book ends.
