I hope I'm wrong too, but Stern has openly stated (IIRC) his dream finals would be the Lakers vs Lakers. I just can't imagine him not getting the Lakers in, and the Twolves and Kings suspect no calls late in the game really irk me.
Let the tape speak for itself... <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/5MhmGyZ7KF0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
LOL 9th seed. Championship aspirations reduced to "pray to just make the first round and get swept". Imagine if the Heat had done this when LeBron formed his superteam. The mockery would have been nonstop.
yea compleeeeetely ignore all the injuries the Lakers had LOL Justify the Clippers excuses, please there is none that is acceptable. They suckin right now
Finally the clip/laker fans on the board have met. Duke it out guys, c'mon. Will rep whoever gets the best burn.
injuries to the 4th oldest team in the league are expected when a team has a 39 year old point guard... ...ranked 26th in defense ...old, slow, and lack of athleticism. the youngest team, on the other hand, withstood their own hardships and injuries, and have battled through them while remaining consistently better than a team with multiple All Stars, MVP's, Defensive Players of the Years, Finals MVP's, and future Hall of Famers. get that injury bulls#*t out of here.
The injury excuse is so laughable it's pathetic. Cry me a river. Talk to the Bulls about injuries. And they're comfortably in the playoffs and just beat one of the hottest teams in NBA history. The Lakers problems were self-evident the moment they stepped onto the floor with a healthy squad in their first oreseason game.
This is why the NBA will be 3rd here in America. A lot of people believe this stuff, a lot of just random people think the NBA is fixed. when you look at that video. All key calls...how do you argue it? Right now the Jazz are more likely to make the playoffs looking at remaining schedule and that they have the tie breaker...but really...all it will take is one bad call to get the Lakers in I'm guessing.
So you are saying that the Clippers' worst stretch of the season is better than the Lakers' best part of the season?
A buddy of mine sent me a link to the Lakers fan forum tonight, and it was of a thread saying that Kobe is "far and away" and "undoubtably" the best offensive player the league has ever seen... If you're in the mood for a laugh...check it out. It's hilarious.
