I definitely agree with you there. I definitely believe that, at least in crucial situations in the game, the should be able to go look and see whether there was a foul or not.
You honestly would not take B Jennings or Monta for Nike JLIN7 or unbelievable Beverly? These two are straight up ballers but yeh knee jerk.
Lin is still a young player with plenty of room for growth, Ellis and Jennings are finished products and proven chuckers. Both basically ball handling SG's when we already have the best in the game. Not a good fit at all even if you ignore the fact that Lin is a better player than them as well.
Jennings is younger than Lin. I think he could still improve quite a bit with right coaching. Especially defensively. Not sure McHale is that right coach though. As far as teams with cap space, I'd love to see him in Dallas under Ric Carlisle. Carlisle is as good as anyone at defining roles and building around his players' strengths, he's likely to bring the best out of Jennings.
The Lakers have not been able to win 2 games in a row on a back to back all season long in 15 tries, and Utah has now taken the 8th seed from them...
Anyone watch the rig job they did for the Lakers in the final minute. I'm really glad the Rockets are in 8th trying to hold LA off because Stern WILL NOT see his beloved Lakers out of the playoffs...
I'm saying I'm glad we aren't in the Jazz's shoes. If Stern can rig Laker wins, he can rig Jazz losses and he will.
The Evans drive while I'm not sure if there is a foul there, if you are giving touch fouls on jumpshots, you better damn well give foul calls on clogged lane drives.
*Kobe on fouling Rubio's end of game jumper* "That isn't a foul, they won't call that ****" *Kobe gets his elbow touched on a jumper (being touched constitutes a foul, not saying it doesn't)* Jumps up and down frantically wanting a foul. That was the definition of a extremely late whistle. If you are making touch fouls like that at the end of games, you need to call that pump fake 3. Not sure about that Evans drive but I could see that being called if you are trying to be consistent.
stern will do everything he can to make sure lakers will enter the playoff. i mean, with all these money spent on the team, stern cant let an underdog team like the jazz get into the playoff.
so how come Stern let the Jazz win tonight? if and when the Jazz make it and the Lakers don't, what will the conspiracy then be?
