OK. Now you concede you are wrong in the team defense, we can talk about individuals. CP3 is 2nd in steals and Jordan is 18 in blocks. So your point is?

The Rockets paid for potential; a work in progress. Keep in mind, back then Lin only started 25 games or so.

In the last five days the Clippers have been swept 3-0 by the state of Texas.

A few things from tonights game:

    1) The refs were really a big help tonight. As one of the commentators said I think the Clippers pissed them off early in the game with their attitude.

    2) I really liked the idea of a Greg Smith - Omer Asik front court. Lol. Blake and Deandre were having a tough time against them. IMO this was the biggest difference with the past two games, whereby our front court was comprehensively outplayed.

    3) Jeremy was marginally outplayed by Chris Paul if you look at the stats. But I would take that every night when you are talking about Chris Paul.

    4) Francisco Garcia and Delfino were huge tonight! Huge threes from the both of them. Is it me or has our bench outplayed the opponents bench the past 4 games?

    5) Omer Asik! What more needs to be said. :)

Lin's defense is underrated. I think it'll be this way for the rest of his career.

The officiating might be able to account for a few points, but not 20 points. A team has to play badly go down that much.

Yeah Chris Paul outplayed lin, but when you compare the season the fact he only barely beat him is pretty amazing. Lin did turn the ball over a lot, but who cares. We won!

Asik.....so amazing. He is so worth the money we are giving him.

Friedman and Feigen have a W to write about. Must have been tough reporting on the losses.

Belated Happy Birthday, Clutch. Sorry about last night.

And of course, God bless Craig Ackerman.

Boy, wins tonight for Utah, Memphis, and looking like Golden State and the Lakers. It was a night we really needed this win. And by us losing to Memphis and beating the Clippers, it brings Memphis a mite closer to that 3-seed.

Thanks for the analysis, torocan - this kind of post is sadly lacking in post-game threads these days. I agree as do most on here, I suspect, that James Anderson is deserving of more relief minutes for Harden and reducing Harden's PT right now will pay dividends for the playoffs (I hope).
