NJ location too. Some of these guys are Knicks fans who are still a little mad that Lin is not on their team any more and left them the way he did or whatever and are now trolling here.

Masterful coaching job by Kevin McHale tonight. It was great to see Asik and Greg Smith outplay Jordan and Griffen tonight!

You think Mchale resting the players last night against the Grizzlies sent a message to the team?

Except when Lin makes those passes, sometimes they don't end up as turnovers, and end up as layups or another high percentage shot instead. That is still efficient offense. Aggressive Lin is better than passive Lin.

Nah, Random Fan was lurking all night hoping that the Rockets would lose so that he could rip on Lin.

Lin had a ton of hockey assists and passes that lead to fouls, and really contributed to good ball movement

I totally agree with you on Jeremy's jumpshots. He really should change his form in the offseason and work with a shooting coach. I can't explain it but it seems like it'll miss 50% of the time. I also followed Lin from the Knicks by the way.

Not having Harden would have forced Lin to adapt (and the rest of the team too). He wouldn't necessarily be playing the same way.

Clippers are a bad defensive team. The calls from the refs also helped us a lot.

If it was...then the message was clearly received, and props to Mchale.

My comment wasn't about Lins turnovers just turnovers vs shot attempts in general.

We definitely got a lot of calls, but the Clippers are not a bad defensive team. They are 4th in points allowed...

If Harden also play more of team ball, certainly Rockets would be pretty unstoppable.

    Honestly, I don't know.

It might have. On the other hand, plenty of teams come out with serious fire when one of their best players is unable to play.

Knicks without Melo. Boston without Rondo. The Spurs without Tony Parker.

It's not much different from the effect of firing a head coach.

I do think we can probably say that when McHale sat the starters in Memphis, he *probably* thought that Harden was going to suit up today.

I think the better question is if McHale knew that Harden wouldn't be able to play today, would he *still* have sat all the starters in Memphis?
