Dmo just isn't ready for prime time yet...doesn't help that his coach refuses to play to his strengths down low on the block
Rightfully so. If this is what Mchale does, then very good move. DMo is not even close to starter-ready.
Although we would lose a stretch 4 (D-Mo wasn't very reliable anyways shooting the 3), I think Greg Smith is probably the best roller for this team.
Tonite was match-up, a good reason to make the switch. Perhaps starting gives more consistent focus to Smith? Q: what happens to b/u 5 position?
A lot of people were making a big deal out of having to have a stretch 4 out there. I thought Smith and Asik played well together and the Rox controlled the boards. Bring Dmo off the bench from now on.
D-Mo should come off from the bench, where scoring is needed and a post player like D-Mo can play to its strength rather than stretching for 3 and waiting for Harden to pass. Lets face it, He is not really that good of a 3pt shooter and a liability of defense.
I would imagine split timing for DMo and Robinson depending on matchups. Could be Smith still depending on substitutions.

McHale: matchups will determine Greg Smith's spot in starting lineup, been playin well lately. Also I am glad, Thomas Robinson is not playing much. I like his energy but he makes poor decisions and misses way too many shots around the rim thus killing the momentum.
