Aesthetic affinity is individually subjective: and probably just a proxy for evaluating other behavioral and socioeconomic attributes; romantic and sexual attraction can incorporate many of those secondary qualities, including race and culture. Neither metric should either be scrutinized against popular conformity, nor conflated into a litmus test for racial tolerance or any other moral competency, ever.
