With all due respect have you been watching the games closely? I've seen countless times when Harden completely ignores the open man and goes 1 on 2. You seriously have not seen this? Also in the beginning of the season when the outlet pass was to Lin or Lin got the rebound very often someone would run down the court and would get the pass for an open layup. Now that Harden is getting a lot of defensive rebounds (what's up with that?) you rarely see the downcourt pass. Why run if you won't get the ball??? Why does Harden always have to dribble it up after getting the rebound or the outlet pass? Why doesn't he ever throw it downcourt?? There are people down there if you look.

Benching the starters is fine in the middle of the season, say during the 7 game losing streak. Not at the end of the season when every game counts.

Your analysis is contrary to what I've seen.

    Actually, rocket is under rebuilding.
So, I will keep the roster more consistent even if we are losing.

They need to learn on court instead of sitting on bench.
One more game we waste and not training our roster is really stupid.
The starter is inconsistent because they are inexperienced.
They are inexperienced because the coach instead of telling
them how to react but to substitute them out.

That is why I am saying,
"this season is almost over, I still see no screening setup for play"
Their screen skills simply had no improvement.

Please look closer. When James get the outlet pass or gets the rebound Parsons and Lin run down the court on the wings. Rarely do they get a pass from James. Actually Jeremy is ALWAYS down there and NEVER gets the pass.

Exactly, watching the highlights again they looked like they were sleep walking half the time.

Can we expect post game interviews tonight? If so, where can I watch them?

Harden had 7 assists in the first half vs. Indiana.
He had 4 assists in limited minutes tonight.

That doesn't account for passes made where the teammate flat out missed the shot.

Not sure what games you're watching.

It's a mixed bag with Harden. There are many times when he is as the Rockets' commentators like to dub him, "a willing passer", as if they are aware of the selfishness criticisms. There are other times where he will not pass the ball to an open man. But, I guess you have to look at it from different angles. Harden is the best offensive player we have and this has been acknowledged by fans and the media. He's now expected to the be "the man" on this team unlike when he was with the Thunder. Also, there may be times where he just doesn't trust his teammates to score, and we are losing and he's trying to put the team on his shoulders.

That said, there are still many times that I wish he would pass the ball.

I've seen every player on the team miss open guys.

Harden finds open guys better than any other great scorer who isn't a PG and isn't LeBron James.

Conley, Randolph, and Gasol all were abusing the starters. Even Tony Allen was doing damage.

What about times, like tonight, when Harden is very passive and clearly not looking to "force" things. Is that what people want?

Holy ****... Lin and Harden had only 8 & 7 points a piece?!

I'm so glad I didn't the 2nd half of today's game, i probably would've raged. My jaw literally dropped when I read the box scores.

That was smart and we were in the game. Defense is what killed us.

Only 16 points in the 3rd quarter when Harden went scoreless also killed us.

Statistically speaking yes. But there still have been many times, for better or for worse, where Harden has ignored the open man and gone one-on-one.
