He needs to do just that....you don't want to hustle sit your arse on the bench.I am sick of seeing the half hearted effort from Asik running down the court.Trob has ZERO offensive game...PERIOD.If he can't slam dunk a put back(which he rarely can) he is worthless. If someone is seeing some hidden mountain of promise, I am not seeing it.

Our starters played like absolute crap sans for Parsons. The bench played well. I don't know what of exactly what have happened if the starters came back in when the lead was cut to 9, but with the way they had been playing, I doubt the results would have been much different.

With the bench scenario at least the starters got some rest for tomorrow against a good team.

That's what I mean....it was against their second unit. So if starters can't do it that's it.

One thing for sure is that McHale has very little patience. If you are not doing well in the first half you're pretty much ****ed. Bench it is for you. Does anyone really think we have a chance in hell against the Clippers tomorrow ? McHale lost this game purely out of his arrogance.

The bench did that while playing against the Memphis bench. Not going to do a ****ing thing against their starters.

Probably had something to do with the starters' effort against the Pacers and today the Grizzlies. Trailing from the start in 2 straight games. He felt this game was out of hand and they need to just make sure they're ready to play tomorrow night.

I'm guessing that's what was going through his head, because that's what was going through my head at the start of the 4th quarter.

Then he should play guys like Tim Ohlbrecht, Garcia and AB in the last 3/4 min of the 4th quarter.

Remember, the rotation bench need rest too. They can't play their best running full 12 minutes quarter without some break.

Again, Popavich has done it. And yes, they also lost the game. Does that make him a bad coach?

on this game? based on how the starters performed? Hell Yeah! . . . the only miss on this one is Parsons. Parsons should have been in with the 2nd unit... he is hot.. he could have brought it closer... then maybe, McHale will make a different move. Overall, guys needs rest for tomorrow.

It's funny I always read that the stats are garbage until you guys try and make your point, then those stats are gospel.

Yeah, even the Grizzlies announcers were scratching their heads saying how perplexed they are by McHale's coaching substitutions.

I feel sorry for the fans who paid money to see a real competitive game turn one-sided in the 1st half.

McHale just rewarded the bench because they gave great effort and to make a point to the starters they need to play harder instead of giving up big leads to start every game.

Yea u like punishing and self inflicting the team to prove a point. Sorry this team is not a punching bag for your anger.
