For all it's worth. the starters need to get bench. no way they gonna come back with the 3rd Q play. I am on McHale on this decision. There is the clips tomorrow. GO ROCKETS!

well... at least Parsons should have been in there.... :(.

McHale pulled a bench-scrub-Lin on the other starters.

They don't care about that. They are LOF who wants to see his hero play.

I'd rather hang around and laugh at all the CF "experts" who were so wrong about the team direction.

And what about that statement is incorrect?

Also Im surprised there are so many questions of leaving the bench in from people. It was the right move, starters were getting outworked and we have proven to be awful on the 2nd night of back to backs. Starters need the rest and a message to be sent.

That unit out there didn't have any more defensive talent (besides Bev) than our starting unit. And yet they were able to play competitive defense against Marc and Randolph. Imagine that.

    Exactly...and against better teams too.

It was a bad decision, Mchale didn't have to bring ALL of them back in...but he could have bought one or two back in and see how it went.

This is a young team, they may take this as motivation or they may take this as "F that guy, he doesn't know what he's doing"

Agreed. Memphis will beat Rockets 8 times out of 10.

The second unit was gassed and everyone could see it, it was starters or nothing. McHale chose to throw in the towel and gamble on tomorrow, as if the Clippers offer better odds.

    For once, I totally agree.
Very bold of him to bench them all in the fourth. Wonder what he says.

The bench did their job and cut down the lead. Even if you're starters are playing bad that is when you go to them to see if they can bring something. If you just bench em all every time they have a bad game then they'll never recover and have a good 4th. The starters are starters because of their superior talent and you have to at least give em the chance to try to win instead of just writing em off as done for the night

That said, I can see the strategy of just packin it in and lookin ahead to the Clippers
