Come on, just because his English is broken, that doesn't mean his thoughts are broken as well.
Nah he just doesn't know basketball and is just potty-mouthed. Quote from old "HadToDoIt" "Holy ****, do you wear Jeremy's balls on your chin every where you go? Because you can not get off his nuts. "
Well, that one flew over your head... You're probably too young or too stupid to even feel embarrassed that you just tried to grammar correct someone making fun of the Lin fans' terrible English skills.
No I didn't dream you were racist as well as potty mouthed. I hope you're proud of yourself you miserable human being.
lmfao @ thread derailed all 155 pages of this thread has never been on a rail. reading the pure hate and anger towards a coach from LOF's in this thread is like comedy
It's a good question to pose if Harden's minutes could be detrimental to his future health while other stars seem to be fine w/ >3000 minutes. But are they really? There are multiple factors when considering limiting Harden's minutes: 1. His adjustment from 6th man playing 1946 min last season to a projected 3155 min this season. Is his body ready to make an adjustment to play 38% more minutes from the previous season? Already we saw Harden slowed down his aggressiveness for a string of games due to knee, ankle injuries. 2. His physical style of play needs to be compared to similar quite healthy SG stars (Kobe, Wade, Jordan) and also oft-injured SG stars (i.e. Grant Hill, Ginobili, Brandon Roy, etc.). It's not enough to compare them to healthy SG stars but we need to account for the severely injured stars like Grant Hill, Brandon Roy (knee history even in college). And even for relatively healthy stars like DWade, he never played 66 games/season due to his high-flying style in his early career. If we looked at the past 10 games minus the blowout games against PHX and GSW, Harden averaged 40.9 min (higher than his season average 38.5) We can take a long time to discuss what the ideal minutes are but perhaps we can agree that when Harden had ankle/knee injuries, it's wise to give him more rest because we know players can risk more injuries if they come back too soon (i.e. DRose's ACL) because they would favor the healthy leg but causing imbalance by putting more pressure on it. So we know our coaches desperately needed Harden to play well to make the playoff and avoid late-season crumbling like last season because their job is in the line if they don't make the playoff. But I'd like them to take precautionary action to curb Harden's minutes to 36-38 min to avoid potential injuries. Saving the coaches' job doesn't justify endangering the future of our franchise player.
He thoughts are broken... His argument is essentially that if you criticize a coach, you are blaming only him for the loss. That view only makes sense to someone cares only about who gets the blame.
We are saying that he should not play harden for 40+ minutes because it might hurt him. How is that related to blaming Mchale for the loss.
Typo: "And even for relatively healthy stars like DWade, he never played a full 82 game season but only averages 66 games/season due to his high-flying style in his early career.
You are abusing the word LOF, most Lin fans here are also Rockets fans so they are not LOF and there are not many LOF here in this forum. On the other hand, many of the Mchale doubters/haters in this thread, their joining date precede July 2012 when Lin became a Rocket.
Fail! This thread was well under way, made and fueled by Real Rockets fans , before Lin was traded to the Rockets. McSuccess did not wait for Lin and his stans to show up in town to be McSuccess.
I put that more on Harden, Asik, Parsons, Lin and a few other Rockets playing better then expected and showing their talents then McHale's coaching. But that is me. I do see him getting another extension, sadly, despite his visible flaws as a coach, he has done a good job plus McHale's coaching staff allows Morey to hide his own coaching picks which most coaches are not willing to do. So I see McHale staying on for a year or two but I don't see us advancing that far 2nd 'star player' or not due to this style of play being ineffective in the play offs. You can't win a championship with an offense built around jump shooting or getting to the Free Throw line. The Thunder last season and the Magic a few years ago were close but if you can't score inside the paint or control the tempo of a game you won't beat playoff teams that know how to do that. These loses we have can't just be blamed on the "age" of our team, the coaches need to be held responsible for not enforcing defense or accurate ball movement on this team when aside from Harden and a few of the new additions like Beverly and Robinson they had a full or near full training camp with them.
Anything about the team that starts "Jeremy Lin & the Houston Rockets" is complete and utter bull **** from a butt hurt Lin fan who has too many posters for the amount of real estate he's got on his walls.
I support what Mchale did tonight. Starters did more riding the pine than what they did on the court. Harden was indeed a magician. No where to be found.
