I'll tell you I couldn't tell if he hit his hand only or if he hit his arm. I'm sure the NBA review team got a good look at it though and made the right call.
The only thing that would make it sweeter is a Gasol for Bargnani & Fields trade. Kobe gets two more underacheivers to yell at, and Colangelo keeps his job by creating a euro-vision of the Isiah era Knicks.
How can you look at the gif and video I posted (and keep in mind the ref was right there) and think he didn't hit him on the arm, or, the very least, the wrist? There's really no way Kobe hits his hand there the way he's shooting it and the way the ball went.
The NBA said wrist which is about as close as you can get to the hand without it being the hand so there is obviously room for some uncertainty.
I think it was so damn funny how the Lakers were suppose to win the championship & the Rockets were suppose to miss the playoffs. Haters keep on hating on the Rockets We shocking the world in 2014
imho it wasnt a foul...and even if it was Lakers would have easily won in OT....nba admited just to stop the negative publicity
no. the refs should not all be fined. they should all be replaced with the technology that exists through ~ sportsvu cameras and motion-capture devices. we're in the 21st century and it's time to move on and away from biased, little old men who can't keep up with this fast-paced style, not to mention having agendas and personal vendettas on certain players. computers won't give a crap if you're kobe or lebron. a foul will be a foul.
Yep, the phantom injuries always appear right after he has a bad game. That's why he always has an injury.
