Why would Portland just dump LMA? Plus he is making 13+ million, im pretty sure we're the one that needs to send expirings to make the salaries work

    Frist deal of the summer

    T Robinson
    ...FOR...
    T Ross

Raptors - Ross' future in Toronto probably lies in backing up Rudy Gay and DeMar DeRozan from the wings - Yes, they have Johnson and Bargnani - BUT it's the Raptors.

He would be the 6th man here as well - Cut Harden's mins. / playing off him at times, too, while Parsons sits.

They'll keep Monroe and play him next to Drummond long term. It's a great fit defensively, they've been looking for a Drummond type to pair with Monroe for several years.

I think the only way to get Monroe would be a Harden trade.

I would love for this trade to happen in the summer.

    Houston - Kevin Love
Minnesota - Chandler Parsons, Thomas Robinson, 2 1st Round Draft Picks

Toronto should trade DeRozan since he's going to be a free agent soon. But if their dumb enough to trade Ross for any one of our power forwards I'm all for it...

    Lin + Asik + Brooks

    for

    Curry

The Warriors could use another bigman + a guard that excels in penetration, while houston offense sets their PG as a spot-up shooter so Curry would be excellent fit here. Smith can take the spot as the main center here and rebound help with T-rob would make the Asik trade-away painless.

It also seems like Mchale doesnt want Lin + Asik to play in 4th quarter (lack of trust, or just game plan) so this trade would make everyone happy

They've extended DeRozan by the way (4 years 38 mil).

I like this a lot... makes sense but maybe trade robinson and DMo plus picks for to raptors for Bargnani sp? just for spacing on offense

The value of the deal is good. I think it's definitely a fair deal, but the Warriors would just never do it.

Curry's a great fit for their team and is a young, emerging star. Those kinds of players don't ever get dealt unless another star is coming in, or their in financial concerns, which they aren't.

Dwight Howard decides to leave LA to sign with the Rockets since Chris Paul opted to join his good friend James Harden and the Clippers have agreed to do a sign & trade with Houston.

Jeremy Lin + Omer Asik to the Clippers for Chris Paul (S&T)

    Chris Paul
    James Harden
    Chandler Parsons
    Donatas Motiejunas
    Dwight Howard

    Splash!

That'd be like us trading Harden. Won't happen.

I wouldn't mind Daryl taking a run at Deron Williams again, using Lin and Robinson and Not Harden and Not Parsons, but it won't happen, either.

I like Lin, but I don't know if the coaches have dog-collared him ("heel! heel!") or if he just over-thinks the game. Or both.

If we can pull Dwight in an S&T this offseason (so he can maximize his contract) and maybe give back Asik/Lin, we'd still have enough to go after a quality player. What about Jeff Teague? I think he'd be a great fit next to Harden.

He's 6'2", a solid defender (the only guys on our team with a higher DRtg are Asik and Beverley) and an efficient offensive player who can shoot the ball (.454/.371/.889). He's also one of the fastest PGs in the game.

    Howard
    Rob/D-Mo
    Parsons
    Harden
    Teague

the rules are different now, there's no extra money for the player in a sign and trade. Which is part of the whole argument that Dwight won't leave LA. Too much money on the table.

That said, it's not important in this case since the Hawks would likely be glad to take Asik off your hands.
