c'mon. be a man. you fought so hard to try to convince some fans not to blame mchale. instead, you mentioned slow start from starters is the reason we lost. yes, it is a factor but you still pointed your dirty fingers to the starters and especially mentioned lin so many times (dmo once).

this is not the first time we were starting slow. we didn't lose every game we were starting slow. elite teams start slow sometimes too but they come back to win more times than to lose. just coz mchale made substitutions and after that both teams played evenly, you excused mchale. why couldn't he make better adjustment than he did to win this game? why couldn't he prepare better with this group of players so they wouldn't start slow? i can keep going and going. this is not my point. my point is bball is a team sport. coach has huge impact on his team. every player as long as he is on the court has huge impact no matter what role is. win or loss is on everyone. we win as a team and we lose as a team. this is the correct attitude. excusing anyone of them including coaches would be totally against what the team sport is.

the question i raised is for you since you excused mchale. you want ppl to shift blames on somewhere else. how can't you understand that?

by the way, i pointed out one of your posts which you stated slow start from our starter is the reason we lost. so you finger pointed on our starters. i forgot what you promised if i found one. it's your integrity to fulfill your promise but i don't care if you do or not.

You keep talking about excusing and blaming. . . . Some nights it just doesn't go the Rox way, like the first seven minutes last night.

Oh, I "finger pointed" at all the starters for the disastrous first seven minutes? Shouldn't that be like a five-finger spray or something?

I don't want people to shift the blame anywhere. Why do you keep saying "blame, blame"? Relax. I just didn't feel like hearing a bunch more "McFail's" last night. Did I offend you by saying McHale did OK?

You say "we win as a team and we lose as a team." I agree with you. Am I allowed to say that a member of the team did OK? Does that violate your principle? I'm catching a lot of **** for saying the coach did NOT suck. . . .

This is the state of the board: people attack me for saying the coach did not suck.

You think the Rockets would be an elite team if it weren't for their coach. OK. I don't think any coach would make them elite this season, and I don't know who would have coached them to victory last night, but you're entitled to your opinion.

Sorry for defending McHale, Dude. It was a really offensive act to many posters.

no, your opinion won't offend me at all. i won't be offended by anyone coz they have different view from me.

but you did offend me by keeping asking me to search through pages. it did wasted my hour. i am kinda guy who likes to move on after a few arguments and don't want to go back to dig something out for just proving something. who doesn't have mistakes? it is meaningless since we are here to express our view. do you think you can change other ppl views? if you have this in your mind, most likely you will have more disappointment than you expected.

Lin looks depressed. Probably because he has the weight of an impatient fan group on his shoulders pushing him beyond his own expectations. All over the world. Lin fans don't appreciate him just being a young inexperienced ball player who has good games and not so good games and is contributing to a winning team. They don't understand it was a few years before Tony Parker and Steve Nash played at a consistent all star level.

I bet he's feeling the pressure.

No, more like he's frustrated that his coach calls him out on public interviews and benches him constantly. And the fact that his backup gets more minutes than him. That's probably the main reason

He is frustrated because coach tell him to play at the corner for the last 5 minutes.

That made me lol after all this depressing Lin talk. don't understand how anyone in their right mind thinks Beverly c can be better than Lin. Kyrie Irving, Lilliard, even Vasquez are amazing point guards of Lin caliber but Beverly is a bench . He's Douglas 2.0 but nothing against Douglas I do enjoy the energy he brings look at their win over GSW. He showed he is s great bench player but playing them 30 minutes is just ridiculous. Your starting PG should be allowed to make more than 1 mistake..if this was the case EVERY starter should be benched for their crappy plays. No one did anything but Lin gets benched for 3 quarters and plays 15 minutes although he's shooting 50% and creating plays.

They can surely works together when Lin was main ball handler.

But recently games where Lin perform poorly, Harden was the handler.

Harden will always get his 20+ pts a game. The question is how many shots and possessions he uses up from the team quota to do it with.

Lol. When Beverley dribbles to the half court and pass the ball the Harden, that's not doing handling.

The game was lost in the first quarter when the pacers were shooting lights out while the starters weren't doing jack, duh... 35 point in one quarter! You can't be objective if facts are not all there. Here,

    21-9: Lin out, Bev in
25-9: Asik and Parsons out, Defino & Smith in
    35-19: 1st Q ends, Harden out
58-49: Halftime, pacers shooting had cooled a bit
    77-67: 3rd Q, Lin out, Bev in
    82-71: end of 3rd Q
    91-81: Lin in

    Carry on.

It's laughable that some people think that Kyrie Irving is a "Lin caliber" point guard.

    Keep it coming guys.

While the extreme Lin fans were only focusing on whether he was getting benched every game, I happened to notice his demeanor in the games since the Cavs game. Yes BEFORE he started having issues and before this board erupted, I noticed he was off and not focused ... and I noticed it every game since then. I believe something is going on with him off the court and maybe he doesn't want to share it... you know its possible for him to have a life outside of basketball and MAYBE just maybe the team and coach already know that he has things going on and is respecting his privacy. That may be why his minutes have been limited as well. So yeah, all of you know just as much as me but that is my observation and theory. If you are able to go back and watch these games, I would suggest you do.

probably you misunderstood what we fought for. we were not arguing facts. we were discussing whether he pointed fingers on someone or a group of ppl for losing the game or not.
