Isn't this the same coach that choked down the stretch last year? And now they have a soon to be elite player, and the best they can do is 2 games better than last year's squad (after 66 games)?
This could very well be our 1st playoff game since Yao/TMac era he is not leaving after that. You honestly can't lie that's a big step, getting into the playoffs is enough plus we could very well win a couple playoff games. I doubt we will go 0-4 by anyone
COTY candidate McSuccess canot be extended...He pretty much extends himself when he feels like it, like a boss. T-wolves fans were not worthy, we certainly are not, Kurt Rambis faints.
The Heat are only playing Lebron .2 minutes per game less than Harden this year and he is 5 years older. And part of the reason Lebron was less than 3000 minutes last year when they won it all was because it was a lock out shortened season. He averaged 37.5 minutes per game last year and didn't miss a game, which would have put him at 3075 minutes if he played every game and it was a normal 82 game season, and Lebron is on pace to play 3140.6 minutes this season. Durant is averaging more minutes than Harden per game. Kobe is averaging 30 seconds less per game and he is 34. Wade averaged 38.6 minutes per game when he was Harden's age. He is playing ~4 minutes less per game 8 years later. Dirk averaged 39 minutes per game at age 24. Garnett averaged 40 minutes a game at that age. Michael Jordan averaged more minutes than Harden is for several of his championship years. Bird averaged 38.4 minutes per game for his whole career. These are typical minutes played for young star players. It's not like the Rockets would be closer to winning a championship this year if Harden and Parsons were playing less. Part of the reason those other stars could play less than 3000 minutes when they won their titles, is because the rest of their team was more capable of stepping up and filling in when they sat, and they had more blow out wins. You are still only talking about 1-3 minutes less per game for most of those stars in comparision to Harden. Only 6 different franchises have won titles in the last 14 years, so it's hard to say that playing their stars too many minutes was the x factor that caused other teams to lose.
Holy ****, do you wear Jeremy's balls on your chin every where you go? Because you can not get off his nuts. I bet you don't care if the Rockets win or lose. December 10th was probably a great night for you personally as a ball-wearing Jeremy Lin fan. For the Rockets fans, it was disheartening to say the least.
Yup, you pegged it. I'm an illiterate 16 year old who never got his grade 7. You know as much about me as you know about basketball and the Houston Rockets...
Aw what a putdown - I'm crushed. I do know the Rockets are doomed to mediocrity with McHale as coach. Write it down (if you know how) and remember what I said. Also if they replace him with a decent coach and basically the same players the team will be far better next year than this year. You're going to deny this but I'll remember and bring it back to haunt your @ss.
Anybody remembers the last Heat (or some other) game, where McHale just threw Anderson, who just became a Rocket and had little practice with the team, into the last few critical minutes of the game and made him look totally lost? And Just you thought McHale used that as a way to develop Anderson's chemistry with the team, Anderson completely disappears in the line-ups all of sudden. Is that because "I've given you a chance to prove yourself, aha, you failed badly!"? Maybe I am wrong. Maybe McHale just understands the psychological side of coaching so well, he is a master of completely destroying young player's confidence and creating rift and tension between them.
No kidding huh... Vogel says that Hibbert played his best game of the year. He also said they probably played their best game of the year as a team defensively. We had won 5 of 6 and 8 of 11 before that game... BUT WE R SUPOZED TO IWN EVERY GAME. ALL MCHAIL FAULTS. BAD COUCH.
