    Stop trolling, clown. SMH.

Major, I was wondering why interest was so low. Your explanation makes sense.

    Not surprising.

But that UNC win sure was, where the hell did that come from.

Season becomes even worse than it already was now without Myck.

Very nice win last night. At the very least, they proved they can win against good teams without Kabongo. Still a very young team that has a lot of work.

One thing I find constantly amazing...new year, almost completely new team...same sh**ty free throw shooting.

Everybody gets benefits, and without them most of the stars that drive college basketball would play overseas.

Difference here is...he lied. Had he just told the truth, he would have played last night after having sat out the usual 10 game suspension.

Sucks for him, he would have been a projected 1st rounder with this weak draft

I think this is true. I mean, if you were Louisville, what benefit is there to play Texas? Only thing that can happen is an injury.

    Just ran across this.

Report: Sheldon McClellan transferring out of Texas
Rob Dauster Mar 27, 2013, 11:37 PM EDT
    [IMG]

Things are starting to look bleak for Texas head coach Rick Barnes.

Coming off of a season where the Longhorns couldn’t get over .500, Barnes got the news tonight that Shelden McClellan will be transferring out of the program.

McClellan averaged 13.8 points for Texas this season, but there were some bouts of inconsistency and, clearly, some issues with the coaching staff. He played just one minute in road games against Iowa State and Texas Tech and seven minutes against Oklahoma State.

“He’s just ready to try something new,” McClellan’s mother told ESPN.com. “He can go somewhere and sit out a year and work hard and develop. A fresh start will do him some good.”

It will be interesting to see what happens with the Texas program from here. Jaylen Bond has already requested a transfer. Myck Kabongo is likely headed off to the NBA. There still are some solid pieces on that roster, and Barnes is still going to be able to recruit at a high level, but it looks like it might be another long season in Austin. It’s never a good sign for a team that went 16-18 to lose their two leading scorers.

You can find Rob on twitter @RobDauster.

The wheels had already fallen off on Rick Barnes' bus. I think the engine is on fire.

Losing your 2 best players (assuming Kabongo leaves) and another off the bench. So far, he's got 2 3-star commits for the class and that's it. I know they didn't have a lot of space with nearly the entire team being underclassmen. But I'm not sure even DeLoss Dodds can justify his existence if he has another season like 2012-13.

Neither can Scott Drew for the most part. It's about bringing in talent.

Barnes has gotten to the final four. Drew's teams have made the elite 8 twice.

LOL. That was what, nearly a decade ago. Ben Howalnd made what, 3 final fours in his 10 year stint at UCLA.

And apparently Barnes can't recruit anymore either. 3 star kids result in the current program. Would it have been nice to have Kybongo the whole year? Absolutely. Did Barnes run into the one and done problem? Sure. But every program has the occasional issue with some players and has one and done issues.

The CBI? Seriously, the CBI? Then to lose to Houston. Then to have players starting to transfer left and right.

This is clearly a program heading in the wrong wrong direction. The chances of this team winning more than one game in the NCAA tournament anytime in the foreseeable future doesn't look good.

I'm not a big UT sports fan, but I live in Austin, so it'd be nice for them to have good teams. The state of the UT football and basketball programs is extremely disappointing.
