Not to mention Bev was really struggling before these past two games. And i mean really struggling. He had like 3 straight games of 0 points on like 3TOs. But again, its not his job to be a starter. If you ask him, he'll admit he's just happy and grateful to be in the NBA. Beverley is good for our team. A guy who can come off the bench and give some energy and defense. But don't go overboard with it.

Beverley seems to fit really well with Harden. The personnel requires a great perimeter defender and he is a really good one-on-one defender. The only question is his inconsistency shooting the ball, but he seems to be getting more consistent lately. It would be interesting to have Lin come off the bench and play with the second unit. I think he could really thrive there.

Beverley needs to be on the court guarding Chris Paul when we play the Clippers.

Like i've been saying all along. Beverley may not be a better player than Lin, but he is a better option next to Harden.

it's hilarious how lin haters overrate the hell out of beverley. comical really. beverley is a great sparkplug off the bench, and on days when JL is flat, he can be very effective if his shot is falling. but he's had more 0-fer games than dominant ones. jeremy is and will be the starter. better player who is getting better all the time.

I know. Ever notice how most people wanted BDiddy, Felton, Mike Bibby, TD, and now Bev to start over cuz Lin!! That's cuz Lin is way worse than all of them, not because we're hating trolls who don't understand basketball. SMH at people not seeing that..

No knock on Lin. I just see Bev as a better fit with Harden offensively. Bev also pressures the ball handler better than Lin. Lin will become instant offense off the bench.

I could see Lin playing an Andre Miller type of role off the bench.

Bev's minutes are quickly rising every game....

    Last 6 games:
    9 minutes (3/15)
    13 minutes (3/17)
    18 minutes (3/20)
    21 minutes (3/22)
    24 minutes (3/24)
    28 minutes (3/28)

Tonight he played 9 more minutes than Lin. It seemed crazy to me before, but the way things are going he might be playing more than Lin regularly. I think that it makes no sense at all but again I think McHale is a pretty bad coach that happens to blessed with a talented team and a superstar.

    Guess it's official then. #FreeBev :p
Lin should start exploring his option as the 6th man ala Manu-type. That way, everybody is happy, and it would do wonders for the state of CF's members' mental health.

I hope Bev is starter over Lin. I really wanna see this vision McHale has that with Bev, Rockets are better than they are with Lin.

Stick to your guns and start Beverley, bench Lin, McHale! Do it. In fact, no need to play Lin at all. Just play Bev, and have Brooks come off the bench. I really wanna see how much better Rockets without Lin the scrub is.

Dumbasses can only learn when they see it for themselves, so do it, don't give Lin **** minutes and still blame him!! How fair is it? The stake is, the ****head who gets it wrong gets canned, that's all. Show us please how Beverley is really the better player and how Rockets are the much better team with Beverley. I really really wanna see, I can't wait.

Benching lin might be whats needed to light a fire under his ass and get him to play with more aggression. Ironically he seems to turn the ball over more when he lacks aggression.

no. you're wrong. since bev is better, trading lin is the best way to improve the team.

The irony is that trading lin would probably be the only time mchale goes to him consistently
In order to boost his trade value

Nobody is saying Lin sucks, just inconsistent

he might be better as the main facilitator off the bench. As a AndreMiller type player
